Speaking from an American Asian point of view, this is not true.
Asians DO score with white chicks, unless you are from inland China and/or a bonafide FOB.
To be honest, NYC Is one of the best places for singles to score a ONS. More so than LA or Miami. Simply put, lots of singles, high income, no frills no time for old fashioned romance. Singaporeans can get some too, unless of course, it is a character or convenience rationale.
