Unfortunately, I THINK you're going to be out of luck with trying to get any other mode of transport to Chang Ping at that hour.

Another alternative is to go to a sauna/massage parlor in/around Guangzhou, which should allow you to stay overnight for free/inclusive of the cost of the service. Then take the CRH early next morning to CP.

Save one night CP hotel cost, which I'd think you'll be wasting anyway, as its probably gonna be too late for you to get any good action by the time you get all checked in your hotel in CP!

I am not a senior in this forum but my age can be consider as a senior liao! To my limited knowledge and if I am not salah, besides Amazon, FuHao also have some nakedness KTV session on offer. I think, in FH, it's on the upper floor and a few designated rooms where they allow HD. Best bet for full HD KTV session, you should go to Chang An (长安镇) Town instead of staying in Chang Ping Town.

Bro: Again, I am no senior but since I got not much to do so I will answer you to the best of my knowledge.

LiHao is in Swan Lake area. Your hotel has it's own KTV but having been there only twice, I can't find many good things to say about this KTV @ LiHao. Only this KTV is priced at a middle price compared to the numerous KTVs' in CP Town. If you are there alone and would like to venture into the KTV scene, I suggest you join mixed KTV offered by the various agents who have advertised their services on the sticky column in the international section. If going to a night club (KTV) alone is what you want, by all means go ahead. The agents can also make the booking for you. All you need to do is to give them a call and they will do all the necessary arrangement.

As for SPA - Clean SPA are a few and far between in CP but you will still be able to find a handful of them. Places like Silver Holiday, Peninsula and Di Hao Hui (帝豪会) offer services like massages, foot reflexology, ear candling, manicure & pedicure, those Chinese Traditional Medicine cupping (拔火罐) and back scrub. Silver Holiday even has a beauty/wellness centre where they offer hair cut/styling and facial services. Food and drinks are also served. Some are charged whereas fruits and some selected drinks are free (prices inclusive of the minimum rates).

Sauna - This is so-called the one-dragon-service. 2 shots 2 hours is the basis of this service. LiHao also has a sauna to offer but I have not been there. Nearest to LiHao and also very famous/popular is Shen An ex Mei Bao. Then along Swan Lake Avenue (天鹅湖路), you will find Manhattan Hotel (KTV/Sauna), The Clipper Hotel (KTV/Sauna/Footie) and Swan Lake Hotel (KTV/Sauna/Footie) A bit further to the north towards HengLi Town, you will find Peninsula Hotel which also has KTV, Sauna and the SPA. The SPA is situated on the 4th/5th floor.

Depending on the numbers of days you will be in CP Town, I suggest you venture to Zhong Yuan Street area. This area is like the local town centre. Food & Drinks, shops, saunas, footie, KTVs' and even dental and clinic are there. Once again, best to get an agent to accompany you.

Last advice - This is not a very safe town. There are many thieves, robbers and con-artist. Please keep your gold Rolex at home and do not wear gold chain. Do it at your own peril. Safety FIRST. If you are adventurous and street-smart enough, you might want to venture and look around the BBS (Barber Shop) but I suggest you ask an agent to provide you a BBS OKT's contact.

By the way - just something which may be of some interest/fun: - since the New Century hotel got "tamed down," their gander of ducks have now started working at the Manhattan Hotel KTV! (a longish block down from the Li Hao)

One night a couple friends and I sat at the hotel Lobby just to observe some of the "ladies" who passed by on the way up to that KTV.

It was quite an evening's entertainment for us ( err... we had started drinking after lunch! LOL) and we had a blast guessing which gals are clients, which are KTV staff!! Actually we also saw some quite OK MILF's!! But we really could not 100% decide who's who!!

I know, I know, not really "mainstream activity" for CP - but I just thought some of you guys may want to know. Oooops!!

And oh, Li Hao is also close to the famous MayFlower KTV - the one with the most number of girls on their flower street.

And on your recommendation on HD at the FuHao, since the latest crack-down/Yanda, the Fu Hao has been quite a bit more discrete on this. They will usually only make "the arrangements" if made through an agent or through a familiar mommy/manager. Hopefully this inconvenience will soon be phased back out, but as far as I know, its still the case up to recently.

I doubt he is really interested in 'Ducks'. Roasted or braised ducks maybe. MF, at the moment, do not have the most numbers of girls. If I am not wrong, YH has taken over the title of having the most now.

Yes, I realize.... and I was just tacking on to your post. I also just thought that others may also want to drop in to observe some fine evening when they don't want to go to a KTV (What? AGAIN?!), especially if they've just had a nice sauna at Meibao, SWL or MongKok sauna behind SWL!! Or if they just left Mango/18/CaliRed etc.

I hadn't done it yet - but I'd imagine that later on in the evening, that it'd be way more entertaining to observe some ladies leaving with their chosen duck for the night!!

On number of girls, I of course am not sure either as YiHao's numbers have increased steadily through the years, but its the noise and chaos and very large number of girls (purportedly over a thousand on week-end nights) all lined up in lines in ONE room at the Mayflower that has left many a newer CP monger all awestruck and impressed.....and for them to judge such to be a "Must-do" experience in CP; thus my having mentioned it.
