I believe It's SIGA, not Sigma. It's walking distance from Nagoya Citi Walk.. btw, bro nono, would you mind also posting current situation of batam city now.. i'm curious how crowded it is. thanks.. glad that you still have made it to your trip.. wish you have good time on your 4th trip.

Thx for pointing out abt the SIGA sign. Just a quick one,i met a friend who also came to Batam and it is also by chance we met in the same hotel too. The joint i got my girl,the Happy Massage 8 joint will be closed on the 1st day of MTQ which is 5th June 2014 & its last day(15th June 2014) according to the girl i booked.I don't know abt the rest of the joint.

As for how crowded Batam is...traffic directly Formosa hotel got pretty heavy (heavier than the usual time i was here),seen a few times at least 20 over luggages lie up nicely at Hotel Lobby getting ready to check in to Hotel. People trying to check in via walk-in but was rejected by hotel. My definition of crowded is the hotel,the street has more people,more cars,some shops closed etc.

It's my 5th trip,and this time my indian foreign friend couldn't come due to the last min notice i gave him. I am not expecting anything good in this trip tho,so no itinerary or mission in this trip on this thread this time round. Only objective is to locate Happy Massage 8 for this 2D1N trip ,tho i have another extra day of room reserved in case i wish to extend another night in Batam.

As for girl,i didn't take her photo (i don't like to do that)but she looks 70% like the one below :

Nice hotel but I must commend that the feel and smell of the hotel is definitely cleaner and newer than Formosa.

If they see u arrive and check in by yourself, naturally they can 2nd guess the nature of visit

Looking at the map, Nagoya mall looks walkable but it's nice they offered u a ride.

Most likely I will see if kaha or there are better rates to this hotel. Experience pretty good.

Just another small update :

1. Early morning already got people chant the Quran at the hallway of the hotel.

This MTQ thing n visits from president from singapore n tony abbot is causing massive jams in batam as I write. Road blocks at times and hotels all full. Batam is sure having a boom now. Every where crowded.

Security is tight and raining as well. This weekend is sure going to be packed, when the crowd comes from singapore joins in the fun.

Exactly the reason why i have chosen not to extend my stay & choose to return to Sillypore even when i already have a reserved room in Formosa. Today is the start of MTQ...last day 14th June 2014 and likely to be very crowded till after 15th.

On my way to Harbour Bay already jam for about 10 mins trying to reach the ferry terminal,and on the way saw a lot of children and adults wearing the traditional formal Muslim dressing singing in the street as well. i believe many Sillyporean still haven't know about this major event yet and likely to crash in during this weekends and the next one that follows. Hear a lot of people whistling on the road too.

Indo time 12pm exchange rate opposite Formosa is 9400/SGD ,Nagoya Hill Mall at 9350/SGD but can be bargained to 9400/SGD.(tested) Harbour Front at sin time 4.30pm at 9250/SGD.
