U not much excitement maybe u too familiar with CP and have too high expectation liao. To make things worse, no more fun in choosing from flower st and the limited number of mm to choose from. OR not much competition for pussies???... hahaha

Not even 50% as fun as CP and pricing is at least 50% more...
So far only Xiamen seems to have some good review, but comes with a high price tag.
Friends just came from CP. Wanted to hear FR from them over kopi but ended more like emo session... reminiscing over the good old days. Guess the golden age of CP is over for now. Can only hope it makes a comeback soon or hope another place comes up.

I just back from Zhongshan after spending a week there. Still got place to have fun. KTV is still open. SN is also open if you know where to find. However do note, the choice is definitely much lesser than the old CP and the price in Zhongshan is actually higher than CP. If more adventurous, can try the smaller town in Zhongshan, like SW, SX or DZ. Price is cheaper.
I hearing tat Most Bro is trying to venture to other remote parts of China. Jus a caution to all, beware of 仙人跳 ...I encounter several time in many places, mentioned by ppl tat its Fun, but its a worse nightmare ...when going to small town or 县城..where mostly locals, one must add extra caution. I don't knw abt anyone of u whom really been through a 仙人跳 or Threaten inside a KTV before. Even u have 4-5 buddies.. E ppl there is around 10-15 at least
Was at Mayflower...they were giving out lots of freebies. Book 1 KTV and get one guest room for free. Buy one dozen beer free one dozen and the mummy gives one more dozen for free. Looks like they are indeed doing all they can to lure customers back. Mummy says only 1 girl each guy sianz... I always like 2 to play with. Choose girls via pictures...so there will definitely be some differences. But mummy says if you go early enough, she will have girls there for viewing. Other than the flower street...everything else in the KTV seems pretty normal to me. And the girls were 1400 or 1500 for take out. My contact told me miraton ktv was checked yesterday and girls were asked to leave. Just hearsay...

IMHO, its not only small towns or 县城 where 仙人跳 happens. In fact, I think that it also happens a LOT in the larger cities in China.
Walk down Nanchang Lu Shanghai or Sanlitun in Beijing - chances are you're gonna get accosted by a tout or worse, some pretty young thing wanting to learn English and who'll take you to her "favorite place"
Fact is, scam gangs exists all over the world, and I'd suggest one need to take precautions wherever you are.
