The flood in CP looks bad. What would happen to people who will be going to CP?
Uncle; as per my experience, this is water log and not flood. Although CP has land depression like a bowl around certain places, the "flooding" will subside in 2-3 days if rain stop. CP has not "flooded" for a few years till this year.
IMO - I believe this "flooding" is caused by clogging of the drainage and sewage system on a massive scale. The population in CP SIMPLY do not dispose their garbage in a proper way. I have witnessed people living there just discard, dispose and dump their rubbish and garbage the most convenient way.
No worries lah! If you come to CP anytime from next week and the rain has stop, the place should be business as usual. Anyway, this rain this time is not normal. It's caused by the recent typhoon.

CP is wet for sure and small rain is still a bit here and there..But as for flood, there is non at Zhong yuan Jie and swanlake area as far as I know.
