Hi I'm new, so I've been wanting to go to Ipanema when it was still at OT but then I found out they closed there and moved (from my knowledge). Just asking if it's worth going to their new location and how expensive are the drinks and how good are the chances of getting a pretty girl there?

Went there on a Monday evening after 11pm.

The place wasn't that packed - hardly any customers, though the number of girls was also slightly lower. There was some quality, but it was few and far between.

Found a super hot girl, we chatted about a lot of stuff but then was quoted 500 ST, and 700 LT (2 shots, or 800 overnight). Wow - how things have changed. I felt that I could negotiate that lower, so I countered with 250 ST, and she immediately rejected. However, she stayed around to see if I would adjust it - so perhaps something higher would have done it.

Saw another girl with a beautiful face and amazing naturals. Was quoted 500 initially. Got it down to 300 - though perhaps if I bothered, it could have got it down slightly.

However, service ended up being pretty mercenary and a far cry from old OT days. She kept saying she should get a tip because I am taking long to finish (actually, it wasn't that long at all). At the end, she asked for more money (another 100) and seemed upset that it wasn't forthcoming.

Ultimately, there appears to be a meaningful reduction in the service levels compared to the old days and the girls follow a fairly standard operating procedure to milk the most money out (where you are from, what you do, ask for taxi fare, ask for extra money for BBBJ, ask for extra money for lasting more than 5 mins etc). Perhaps that is why there were hardly any real punters at Ipanema when I went. Mostly groups of people enjoying drinks and eye candy but no one was really approaching anyone.

Sadly, the above rings true for the new Ipanema.

I have also gone there to hunt a few times, and left empty handed.

It has sort of the Brix vibes, with Viet chicks targeting tourists who are ok with paying such inflated prices.

Have not tried to stay till late to see if they will be drop their prices.
