I am staying at Formasa right now too. I was thinking of chilling at Alisan abit. Dont really want to venture out of hotel compound tonight. I was sitting at the lobby and i think i heard viet girls reporting to work.

Right. Unless you're changing more than $1000, the difference might be negligible.

50 rp x $500 is only 25,000 rp. Less than $3. Ok, can take ojet and have 5000 left, if you wanna argue that way.. I usually change about $250 per trip, hence don't bother to hunt high and low for $1 difference.

Of course, I'm not saying those who hunt for the best rates are wrong. Different folks, different strokes. Just prefer to spend my time on more stressless things. I'm, after all, here to relax.

Good news for those that has relative/lover/child/client in batam. Horizon is now having promotional price of 290k 2 ways (tax included). However, the promotional ticket can only be bought from bcs money changer (the largest one at level 1) and selective money changers.

It has been a wet weekend in batam. Exchange rate was 9670 on Friday night. Guys who don't mind spending $4.50 (40k*) for a plate of chasiew/roast meat rice, can give it a try at maystar restaurant at cinema level of nagoya hill. I feel the rice and the quality of the meat very nice. Do consider their coconut pudding as well (costly though at 63k I think, pudding in a thai coconut)

The Storyline :

Quite surprise to see Batam theater screening Star Trek 1st. I thought it was going to be ghostbusters 1st,then Star Trek. It doesnt matter now that both movies were up.

Sorry forget to mention its for Indonesia passport only. Promotional should last awhile as it matches other operator prices for Indonesia passport.

Horizon only travels to harbourbay.
