JM is JM and he will not change his style when playing against strong teams. He will park the double decker bus and play on the counter. today his tactics worked for 89 mins.

JM team has quality players and he could have gone head to head with Liverpool playing the attacking style.

Great EPL debut for the lad Rhys Williams but the trio of Gini, Jones and Fab were exceptional, not forgetting Bobby Dazzler at the end, you beauty.

Must say a very exciting game to watch, with Mourinho turning Spurs into the Madrid and Inter of old that he once managed. Sadly Mourinho post match was awful, Jose turning into the Donald J Trump of the football world

Tbh Jose has got this Spurs team really well drilled to play the type of game that he knows best and loves to play i e defend tight, soak up the pressure and sucker punch on the counter.

Read a long time ago that Jose once said, with a team well oiled to play his style of game, all he needed was to score once and that would be enough. In Kane and Son and with the rest of the Spurs team buying into these kind of tactics, I think Spurs may go far this season.

That said, barring significant long term injuries and VAR/poor ref decisions, we shall retain the title because we are still the best team in the league by far this season

Ya, now that you mentioned, I remembered that chance. He headed the ball down so hard that the rebound cleared the height of our goal. If they had taken every chance, they would have scored more than one goal. But then again, if we had scored with any shot on target, we would have won the match too!

Rhys Williams does well. Great header of the ball, good passing ability too. Inexperienced at times and I do wonder if we need to buy a 4th CB and risk his RW's growth path. Kid is talented. Curtis Jone's main weakness is exposed in this match. He is just too skinny, easy to push off the ball by defenders. Need to bulk up more.

RW and CJ are both 19 yo young lads. Both can only salvo the big match atmosphere and gained from it.

I am sure the trainers and coaches are well positioned to guide and advise the young lads. The young lads will mature and grow in status after playing more matches. But am sure Klopp will use them well and not give them too much pressure till burned out.

Liverpool had always produced excellent academy players in history.
