newcastle will still need another season (or at least half) to get over the transition... but judging from big sam's record, he will make newcastle hard to beat first, before they really start to win on a regular basis...
Arse players starting to mature, but guess still can't handle those rough tactics, will be interesting to see them play newcastle, with Big Sam there, newcastle players will play very hard and tackle hard too
newcastle still have martins, and he is quite a good striker, with pace too.

i was hoping that the callgirls wouldnt say anything so that they can continue to use their services leh... but 3k pounds for 3 girls for an all-nite romp ah??? sounds to me like a bit cheapo by english standards... which explains my celibacy whenever i was in london

i m biased but not without some degree of truth lah... we have seen the manchester derby already, no sparks one...
well, for the merseyside derby, u can safely throw the form book out the window, disregard whatever the league table tells u! cos it is just an afternoon whereby the 2 teams will go out there and slug it out... rest assured, tackles will fly and tempers will fray!!! the players will run till they drop... for the fans to have some bragging rights until the next derby match, that is.
reina??? oh... it cant get any worse, can it??? well, with such a low yardstick, i guess the only way is up for reina...

Knn is that Steve Mclaren trying to sabo Pool challenge for the title this season? Stevie G is the brains behind the Pool machinery and everyone knows that...looks like he may insist on starting him for the Israel by injecting him with pain killers and playing with a broken toe..that may result in irreplaceable damage to Stevie G foot in the long run...maybe Mclaren still under Manure pay roll and jealous of The Mighty Reds fine start to this season, so trying to derail it..

bro,
read that stevie G does not need the injection to play and also he is desperate to play for england. he wants to show that he can help england win when he is not playing with "lanpard". Man U Sc*m aka McClaren is desperate, he has to get the result on sat, he would rather save his carreer than stevie G's. He is a tw*t!!! Everyone in England knows that except Man U sc*ms!

Agree with you on that....
McClaren is desperately trying to save his skin.
Players' chief Gordon Taylor believes Steven Gerrard's long-term fitness could be put at risk if he is given a painkilling injection to play for England.

stevie g himself wants to play actually, or it is what he wants us to believe... cos he could just declare himself unfit and not play, right??? but then again, if he offends mcclaren, he might find himself be kept below the pecking order for future games, not that the highly unqualified manager can afford it in the first place.
IMHO, a part-time big sam would do much better than a full-time mcclaren... so, secretly harbouring the wish that israel can steal a result tomorrow. i m evil, but it seems that the english FA would only wake up with a monumental failure... otherwise, they will just stick to the stupid formula!!! sick and tired of balless managers playing the untouchables instead of playing those best in their positions.
how on earth can pennant be excluded from the call-up yet again??? anyone can name me a better english winger playing at the moment???

Bro, Stevie G himself wants to play, he wanted to play for liverpool the last few games too. Just that rafa doesnt want to play him with the injection and he said that Stevie G wants to play but he does not allowed it. I dun think he cares abt McClaren, alot of English wants to play for england for pride. I also dun think he is worried abt not starting, he has started for McClaren every game when he is fit and he won most of the game he played and especially those without lanpard. Further McClaren will be in shooting range if he does not play a fit Stevie G, whole of England knows how good Stevie G. I remember once McClaren actually drop lanpard and played Carrick or Haregreaves with Gerrard. So the only liverpool player in McClaren's eyes is stevie G and most prob he got no choice as he knows he will be shot if he does not play him.

i know players like stevie g who wants to play every game... he looked really ill at ease in the stands watching his own team run riot against derby...
but he has to understand that his legs r in danger of permanent damage. we have a good manager in rafa who saw that it was detrimental to stevie and stopped the injections. and the only time i remembered him not playing lampard was the incident with his broken hand or something, which i thought was a sorry excuse.
