Had this even with a girl who brought along her cousin brother, working here, who refused to pay as he kept saying "you are earning more .. "

The jeepney to Clark cannot enter into the airport area. You have to drop at the highway outside the perimeter and walk to the airport. It is NOT recommended if you have not done it before and definitely not advisable after dark.
A taxi ride is only 300p so dun take unnecessary risks just to save a few pesos. Go to the taxi stand at the side of the jeepney terminal and approach the driver at the head of the queue. The fare is fix at 300p. No middleman cos they will add to the fare for their commission. Likewise if you ask hotel / tour agency to call they will add the commission to the fare.
*Take note only SIMMONS Taxis are allowed into the airport drop off point, other taxis may be denied entry or be redirected to the carpark area and you have to walk to the departure hall.

Haha now then realize there are 2. Was wondering how come they stop at the main gate then head up to SM Clark before heading to Dau terminal.
So if I tell the driver I want to drop off at main gate, they will stop at Jollibee to let me alight ? Was thinking I will be alighting at the main gate then have to walk all the way to Jollibee as the hotel I may book is near Jollibee. It's good that you can extend without the hassle to call back to the office. Unless you are the boss and just have to answer to yourself or you have retired and have the time you want to be anywhere.

That's the budget for the first trip, hope to cut down to 2k or less by including everything in it. BF is not a must for everyday, so may miss some of the fun with a tight budget. Less barhopping to compare to my previous one cause 1 day can hop up to 10 - 20 bars(around 10 - 20 mins hop once if nothing fancy me.).
Still lazy to go make a real budget calculation for the coming trip. :P
