True enough, me saw that as well .... LOL --- i guess as a Liverpool die-hard fan, i choose to bear with it. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I believe that the liverpool's players got no mood to play, hoping for chelsea to clich the title to stop man utd from getting their successive 19th BPL title as stated from TNP?

If you are brilliant for one game & shit for the next 3 - conclusion is you are still shit espeically in a multi-million dollar sport. Rem that colombian player - Escobar who got shot 24hrs after he headed in an own goal in a World Cup - thats how unforgivable in this sport. So he should go back Brazil & play coconut in the streets managed by his beloved god-father in RB

Be careful in all your criticisms guys. I know Rafa isn't doing a good job. I see how we play I also sian. But you know what scares me? That in our current financial situation, if we sacked Rafa, we might not find someone even as 'lousy' as he is. No Champions League, Hardly Any Transfer Fee, Aging Squad, Bickering Owners. Name me some good managers who can replace Rafa and bring us back to glory. It's easy to criticise the obvious (Rafa's tactics suck) but it's much harder to provide constructive feedback.

the rafa bashing is a disgrace, we have been to 2 CL finals 4 semi finals a carling cup final and a fa cup final and only for a young italian at manu would have been league champions last year. Maybe rafa has gone as far as he can but we should look back with pride on Cardiff and Istanbul and those wonderful Anfield nights in the CL. He did all this with a poor chairman and then poor owners having to sell to buy and having to try to rebuild our entire youth system. http://www.teamtalk.com/liverpool/61...y-with-academy Eveyone can have an opinion but questioning fans loyalty to the club for supporting their manager is not on. Rafa has worked magic under these restricted circumstances (season after season). It is kind of pointless saying we have spent 250m blah blah blah because the base we started from is much weaker than those of United or Chelsea, and we have sold many players too - so the 'net spending' is comparably smaller to the other top4 clubs. So get real - unless Hicks give our 'new world class manager' 80m+ to spend next season there is no point sacking rafa. by the way, which "world class" manager will want to manage a club with such uncertainty or under such owners???

Starting from RB reign in 2005 to now, i would believe no other top-class manager would come close to the nos. of trophies Kops had won in the same "short" span of time. Glance around the globe, how many top-class managers are around / available? Van Gaal? He should be more than happy to stay at BM now that BM reclaim the title.. Mourinho? Granted he's good, but sooner or later we will be losing patience with his 1-0 margin wins..also his continous blanters with the press, mind-games with other managers..may not goes down well with Kops faithful.. Felix Magath? Agree that he can work wonders with any team, but he's more familiar with german style of play and can we accept if he "import" german players and change the "core" of the Kops players? Ottmar Hitzfeld? Didn't he had expressed his long-term wish is to manage a national team? He's doing well with swiss national team now, don't think he got the intention to "step-down" to manage a club. Kenny Dalgish? Hmm, pardon me, but i hadn't gotten over how he quote "high pressure" as excuse to step down from Kops helm midway thru 1990 season.. Frank Rijkaard? At Turkey club now, personally think he's too mild manner to handle the highly strung job of managing a EPL club. Dick Advocaat? When a manager can "suddenly" quit his post as belgium national coach and "suddenly" becomes another club manager, this should says all about his "attitude'. Anyway begium didn't make any headway when Dick was the national manager.. Klinnsmen / Erikson / Gulliet? All these didn't have any proud record as a club manager.. As said b4, me not avid supporter of RB, but given the financial constraints LFC faces now, and the unsupportive owners, it would be best to retain RB and his core supportive players (torres, masch, yossi etc) or perhaps any bros have other better manager recommendations can share? |

I felt disgusted by their behaviour (Bro, hope you didnt cheer as well)... I had mixed feelings for this match too... I wanted Liverpool to win, yet I know winning will give Manure the upper hand... Much as I dont wish Manure to win no.19, why should we go so low as to cheer for a Liverpool defeat? Is that how true fans behave? 1 even claimed to be life long fan! It has been a truly disappointing season, 1 of the worst since Houllier era before he left... The future is unclear, as we have yet to find new owners.. Will the new owner be another Yankee shit? Will $$ be given for new players and stadium? Will we attract good players without CL next season? Actually, I'm glad we have to live through this nightmare for 1 more week when this season end.. Plus, we have yet to secure rights for World cup... What a lousy season for all Reds!
