I got this news from a friend and I think I should share it to warn fellow bros here.

Not a vivid poster so I will be short and sharp:

My friends were at the family ktv (Star Party) with a few regular MMs. A few GongAn came in after about half an hour with no warning. The attitude was quite aggressive surprisingly. They ordered the MMs out and demanded IDs from my friends. Despite showing them their Singapore passports, they actually confiscated them and told my friends to sit and wait for the police cars as they will be arrested.

They ignored protests and threats of contacting the embassy and started taking out the plastic handcuffs. After cuffing my friends, they left the room and about 5 mins later, some guy who worked for the ktv came in and told my friends that the GongAn can let them go for 10000 rmb. In the end, they bargained till 5000 rmb and was let off.

My friends left the ktv and later their MMs told them they were also told to pay 500rmb to be let off.

Now they suspect this family ktv is a black shop and will alert the GongAn if foreigners come in with MMs and exhort money from them.

So bros be careful and avoid this ktv, now they have exhortion...

Pls look before opening your gap. Where r the girls pics?? I was just contributing the pics as described by Fei Goh Goh. Also those people trying to make a living is looking at other places where there r no raids - other than Dong Guan(where it is very hot). Also I believe the name of the mummy is not her real name and I am just trying to help her if any brother wanted to go to the new K in Xiamen I will then provide her contacts to them. So it is a win-win : bro got new place to go, mummy and girls got opportunities to make a living.

First of all I didn't name any names so if you think I'm taking about you then it's up to you to think whatever you assume to be. I merely said in such times of sensitivity to post girl's/mummy's pics and work place on forums is hazardous to them.

Also the way you reply to me in such an unfriendly manner reflects your personality. I'm not even going to talk about how you got zapped until 4 points. Not me hor! No worries I'll not take your hostility to heart.

Also I got zapped 6 points for speaking out on my personal views/experiences on the situation in Dongguan in recent posts. I think sometimes we've to pay some price for revealing some hard facts. Most importantly one bro just posted his first hand info on foreigner related "arrests" even though it could be a scam. It's good that more people are speaking out on foreigner arrests or scams.

By the way thanks to bro Feigohgoh and eminor for your kind gestures. I believe many bros here have eyes to see.

Wow my room was also checked by the gong an in this family ktv. We had about 6 girls and 5 guys. We showed them our sg passports and girls were made to step out of the room. No arrests were made but share spooked us

I think they are more interested in money rather than arresting. With the current raid going on, many GongAn probably lost a lot of income from bribes so they need other ways to pad their pockets.

Even the common citizens in Dongguan get a reward from reporting any suspected vice activities.

Bottom line is still “hear from a friend" and did your friend physical experience it or did he hear from somebody. Are they really GA ? Is the KTV person tell your friend that RMB can resolve the issue and not GA .

There is a lot of blind spot and your friend may be kena cheated by the KTV scam, who knows

There is a lot of sharing recently that are rumours and information that are not accurate.

Was in CP last week and now in CA still.

There is no raid in hotel or even family KTV as far as I am concern.
I an on site and personally experience it myself

OR .........Maybe I am lucky

Looking it deeper in the current situation, I will personally do not think the GA dare to do corruption at this time.

Looking further down the thread another bro say there is no arrest

To me, one is onsite with no arrest and the other hear from friend that there is arrest.

I always believe people have choices .... it doesn't make any sense here to debate what is true n what is rumors ... if one believes he will not have any fun or cannot afford the consequences of being arrested then dun go ... but for those brave souls n adventourous/confident ones by all means go check out yourself..... lastly no GA ckecking your guestroom doesn't mean others also that lucky, remember they do random checks ....

First pls relook at your post - IT is very crystal clear who u r referring to and the way u mention is NOT Friendly at all! Also if u would mention only work place I am fine with that (but u mention GIRL'S Pics - when did I ever put Girl's pic in there). If your post is to alert me of the current situation I am also fine with that (but the post u listed is not what it seems to imply).

FYI - before posting the new Xiamen's KTV I got approval from the mummy - she is trying to make a living for herself and her girls.

Also if u would take the time to look and less shooting your mouth off - u would have noticed that I am not a active contributor (that is why I only have 4 points) not as u claim zapped until 4 points. Also I am just trying to achieve a win-win situation for all bro in this forum and also help the mummy and her girls (so if u want to zap me I do not care or mind)
