Online dating does not work for all. Its the same like chatting up with a hot young thing at the bus stop. Some will fail, while others succeed. My own view is, the odds are bad cos more variables are in place compared with dating a colleague or something.

These days online dating very dangerous. Cannot anyhow, cos may kena blogged for the wrong stuff....

Haha. Quite hilarious after reading the link. Had a longtime girlfriend but still wild at heart. I believe many bros also are. This reminded me of those IRC days. Well, it's already more than 10 years ago when I'm in poly. Had a met up with 1 girl same age as me, 19 then. Just like most most blind dates....excited but worried. I got a shock when she turned. Everything she told me were true, close to 100%. In fact, she's pretty and slim. We had dinner, movie & walk in the park. I tried very hard to stay decent throughout the entire date. Drove her home thereafter. She stayed at a big mansion in Bt Timah. I'm very sure she had good impression of me too. Even asked, when will we meet again? I was like....Gosh! Strike Jackpot! On my way driving home, I was thinking....how can I be so lucky? So untrue.

We had a few dates followed on. Those standard weekend ones like...shopping, dinning, movies. Had hold hands even but nothing beyond that. She liked me. My evil thoughts......should I pursue further? Then my guilt overcame me. If I carry on, sure something will happen. I stopped at it cos 'No seeds'. Didnt want to break my girlfriend's heart.

I think on the 5th date, I told her everything. It broke her heart and bombarded me. Never want to see me again. Thank God! I was relieved. For the 1 month, mental torture lah. I moved on and I believe she did. Now i'm happily married with my longtime girlfriend.

Of cos there's other adventures and sexcapades over the years. Older, bolder. haha.

Woah... If that happened to me, I would've ran lol.

I had 1 online date once (scarred for life, never doing it again), turned out she was a primary school girl when we webcammed...
Luckily never ask her out before seeing pictures. x_x

Moral of the story: Make sure see photo and make sure photo not doctored before meeting up ....
