I know that my wife lost her sex drive due to her nursing. Also, she might have encountered some trauma during child birth. She was in labour for over 16h and in the end, she still had to undergo emergency C section due to her cervix not dilating sufficiently.

Maybe all these might have fucked up her body.

You can help her by suckling her nips becos surplus milk will also go to waste...she will get stilmulated when you suckle...hopefully helps to proceed...also you can discuss with her about your needs...

She doesn't feel stimulated at the nipples and her breast anymore. She found it gross that I suck her nipples for her milk too. To her, the milk is only for my kid and my kid only.

Anyway, she only offers to jerk me off these days. Nothing more. Over these 6 (going to 7) months, we only tried doing it twice and I can tell that it hurts big time for her. From the second time onwards, she is totally disinterested in any form of intimacy anymore.

She is always dry below and nothing seems to stimulate her anymore.

The confinement period is a time for the wife to recover and recuperate from the whole ordeal, carrying a child within her for nine months to giving birth.
It can also help to rejuvenate the body.

I suppose even after 6 months somethings can still be done.

help out with chores, spend more time with your kid and offload it from her.
if her supply is low, just go ahead with formula. basically reduce her stress.
when the kids are still young, their maternal instincts are just too high.
for most, the sex drive will drop. once the kids are older, more independent, shower your wife with attention, and she will start to be more horny again.
also, i realize the less you want to have sex with them, the more auto they are with coming to you for sex.

We primarily feed him formula, supplemented with breast milk.

I became the primary guy in doing housework, to cook and I also help to look after the baby whenever I can. But my wife is perpetually du lan whenever my kid cries (not that I'm not fed up either. Just that I tolerate with it).

So everything looks wrong to my wife and emotions take over whenever my kid is unhappy.

For the R&R, you don't go on a trip. It is essentially Rest and Recuperation.
Can just be at home.
But you will need someone else to take care of the baby, while the mother rest, maybe have confinement nanny, in-laws to take care of the mother.

Key is to provide stress free environment for the wife to rest a bit.
Best is the wife do not work during that time.
