Going temples on the day of Awakening of Insects (Jing Zhe) to pray to the Tiger God once a year. This day normally falls on the 5th/6th/7th March. It refers to the day all the animals are awaken from their hibernation and start commencing on food hunting activities. And the most feared among all the animals is the ferocious tiger. The chinese would offer fat pork lard, green beans, duck eggs and incense paper to the Tiger God. In 2014, this day will fall on 6th March 2014at 00:02hrs.
Offending the White Tiger In layman's term, those who offend the White Tiger would be refered to as "fan siew yan" (offending scheming characters). It is regarded as a highly feared offence besides fearing the Tai Sui. When one offends the White Tiger, troublemakers, scoundrel and villains will plot wicked intention to make ones life miserable throughout the year. They can be your wicked relatives, colleagues, friends, rivals or even your own boss. If left uncontrolled, one may get laid off from work, lose his/her good name, break-up from a relationship, fall into a legal problem or lose money. Never underestimate troublemakers. They are able to topple a kingdom. Those who are offending the White Tiger will easily become a victim of bully. Those who are offending the White Tiger must also beware of accident, injuries, diseases, vile people, disputes and mourning. __________________

Not this thread sorry! I was disturbed awhile ago, over Sammy boy forum a member brought up a 1979 murder case. A cold case which remands unsolved. I gave the benefits of doubt maybe the murderer was served justice but the court did not wish to release statement.
Block 58 Geylang Bahru 4 children were brutally murdered at their flat. It brought back memory, that period I was a school kid. And there was a rumour no it never got close to serial killers, we did not believe it has anything with Adrian Lim. Rather the rumour was the parents who were taxi driver, had ran an illegal lottery joint. They had back off payment to a winner who was a relative. The door lock was never break open, neither was there noses because neighbour statements to IO was a peaceful morning. There was also another frightening rumour after the murder, we were passing around a telephone number and challenging whoever dare to call after midnight. They said children voices were heard even Chinese papers? I cannot recall reported some body called up ask for winning numbers and strike. All nonsense. Maybe we should open a discussion on cold case.
