Bangkok Hotel is good for stay. In my opinion I was happy with the reception and the rooms.Except if you are using a Smart sim, then request for rooms with Smart network. Very important for communications. The layout when I used to be a regular 2 years ago was good. Bed is BIG but watch for the wooden extension of the bed that you may accidentally kick. Also i took the standard rooms and its crammed but fine with me. They practise calling you before you get visitors or your visitor leaves. Just to get your clearance.

My knowledge of hotels are limited cos I usually like to stay at one and don change.I am sure there are others who can give you better feedback. But luckily you asked me on a hotel I am familiar with.

I chose to visit Subic this trip cos Dreamland Resort is having a super offer for me this period. Also there is a movement of resources from AC to Subic and I followed. Splash Bar besides Candy Bar has closed and all girls are now in Angelwitch Subic.

Usually from AC i take the Olangapo bus from Dau terminal but those with the budget can take a hassel free ride from Brass Knob at 9am. Drink prices are about 75p and 140p (Customer drink and Lady drink). Barfines are about 1500p. Not as many bars but cosy.

Glad to be of help but a word of advise. In my opinion, and with respect to this excellent thread, best feedback to any queries would be obtained if queries were directed to the forum and not just an individual.

We have many experienced, well informed and helpful contributors here who would sure have more info than any individual.

Yeah that is what i use Sun for .. especially to keep in touch with family or to make that important call to Spore. Its just 1p or 2p an sms to Spore (compared to Globle/Smart which is about 15p an sms). Even calls are darn cheap at 5p/min to Spore. The only other place in AC where I got this price to call Spore was at a VOIP shop run by an Ang Moh quite close to Bar Eruptions.

As per your advise i will get a Smart Sim too and use it to keep in touch or text the girls.

One more thing that i have noted Sun network gets clogged at times... The whole network gets loaded to the maximum.

I understand... thats why i totally stopped frequenting Paramount/Duxton and OT.

While wasting money is definitely not my cup of Tea and is one of the reasons, i also cant seem to get the enjoyment i get in AC in any of the above places. Hence i put a full stop to Paramount/Duxton and OT and as Ziebart has advised i monitor this thread.

But AC i wll not give up. How to? My love for AC beats my love for liquour
