i think john aldridge is right in saying that brendan rodgers is a breadth of fresh air & we can see that managers like harry rednapp & alan pardew were managing relegation threatened teams before getting their chance at managing one of the big clubs, n look at how spurs & newcastle were transformed recently into top 4 teams..........so BR could be the one to transform liverpool............but having said that, it still depends on how much transfer funds he is getting from the owners, if not it is still going to be very difficult for him to improve the team & ultimately it is going to be fans like us who suffer.............lets hope for the best...............YNWA

he knows attractive passing football, for that alone he has my full backing.

We have a good squad who just underachieved in the league.
With full potential, we can challenge for top 4 at least and hopefully Mr Rodgers can bring the best out of them.

He gave me a very good impression too from the way he presented himself at the press conference.

Saw a piece of interesting fact from BBC today..

Rogers last game at ex-club Swansea is a win against Liverpool
Shankly last game at ex-club Huddersfield is a win against Liverpool.

They both managed Liverpool afterthat and the latter became a legend thereafter. (ya I never believed in history tough)

Hope Rogers has the same impact (......or so)......

people may disagree with me, but I strongly believe Joe Cole and Aquilani can help the club on the pitch if we do not decide to spend money in the transfer market.

Rumor is Gylfi Sigurdsson is on his way too, a HUGE improvement from Charlie Adam.
