Stay in Mangga Besar bro! Its the geylang of Jakarta. They have transit hotels, budget overnight hotels. I recommend Hotel 88 (they have two sites in Mangga Besar) which is newer and cleaner. Price wise about Rp. 200k - 300k / night.
