Luckystar, I do think that Hotel Melawai is the place for me!

I don't think the hotel has an official website though does it?

How does one go about making reservations there?

When I contacted asiatravel.com/indonesia they said that they were no longer doing business with either Melawai 1 or 2. :-)

Any suggestions on how to make my reservations would be great!

And it is Melawai 1 that I want correct? This is the one with the 6th floor massage?

yes, you re right. there are two melawai hotels.i found this info, but i can t guarantee that it s correct.
melawai 1-old building + massage ,
melawai 2-new building, room
i think the roomrate is around 25 USd
massage will be around 25USd for 1 hour in your room.
many people on internet say Kartika Boby Massage is the best. it s the only place in jkt where you can have bodymassage like in thailand. the rate is again around 25USd. and....always use a condom, because the HIV infection rate in Jkt massage parlours is more than 18 % nowadays (World Health Organization 2000)
i never worry about reservations, there s always one room. don t worry. if there s no room in hotel 1 you just check in hotel 2.
don t forget to ask for "korting",that s a lower price, which you will almost always get in indo hotels, especially if you stay more days

just must enter a small alley from Jalan Hayam Wuruk(Hayam Wuruk street)
at the corner of the alley is Swiss Bakery. it s in the area of Harmoni, not far from jalan Mangga Besar(lokasari is very close)
