If u are there for more than 1 night u can explore other KTV along the city centre.
Understand from my MM there are more hotels and KTV opened along the city centre (near Xiao West Lake side) and more like CP Chong Yuan St.

What pissed me off is the DJ told me must give tips to those wearing coat that I refused. I never give tips to these ppl before when cheonging in CP and CA.

U did the rite thing bro. Actually u can complain the dj by virtue of her behavior . I have checked with one ex YH dj who is working there now and she said no such thing. Why should we give tips to those in black coat ? They came in at their own will. She was also telling me a SG bro Kena 110 cans of beers by these ppl who came in and drink with him. He was alone then. Really knn these ppl.

How is the KTV scene here? Is it still alive or closed as well? Really want to take this opportunity to visit other places and check out what they have to offer.

Anyone interested to group up to plan a trip to China to cheong KTV and just relax? Maybe Fujian, Huizhou or any other places that can potentially have fun.

Yawnz...just done a trip to HZ and now bk to reality. HY ktv is a nothing to shout about place. Gals on a Friday nite were not more than 80 and it's quite tough to pick. One need to lower expectation by 60% when compared to cp. Overall it's quite a fun experience and the hotel rm price of rmb 328 , it's a steal! It's deco and bed is better than OY with half of the rate! Moved to danshui the next day and it was our biggest mistake. We should just stay put! Went to 皇朝俱乐部and this is a very atas ktv. I would say it's more atas than OY ! It should be the same league as dihao .but....but....90% of the gal would not want to go out. Not even a porkchop! Wtf! Vowed never ,ever to go bk to this shitty place again! last day went to zh and things got normal..gal..booze and jiuba. Fun...fun...fun...in zh! Thanks for reading!

YA...guessed we were too pampered by the old cp glory days where supply of mm were plentifull eventhough most chut patterns. ZH MM is generally still ok. Anyway nowadays cp mm rate and Zh is almost the same liao.

Set fee (not minimum – but waived if total spending over 3,000) for small room RMB 680, Beer 400/Doz –buy 2 get 1, Crown Royal whisky 950 also B2G1. DJ Fee 300, room troll 100, plus 15%. Can also negotiate for free room at the hotel or for one at the very nice Crowne Plaza nearby

Girls are dressed like DJ’s and there were around 70-120 of them last night; most are 5-15-20, some 4-9-13 and models are 8-25-35 (WHAT???!!). There’s also some 600 category, not sure what the other rates are for these, but what’s great is that all the girls were very playable and well trained by the mommy. No nonsense like we used to have to endure with the spoilt CP girls of past year!

But as I am always fond of reminding, best to set out what your expectations are for the evening even before you start the festivities, and better still, try to get the best deal prior to even agreeing to show up; I don't doubt that one could get better deals than above as there were not any hard bargaining prior to the partying last night.

Went to the Legend Hotel KTV in Danshui,Huiyang, Huizhou in Mar & Apr (2 trips).. actually I had quite a lot of fun there.. rates similar to CP ie slightly cheaper than Zhuhai..
