Any bros over here knows what is involved in getting a vietnamese girl to be married here in SG? Such as job and wedding formalities? My parents will not even understand them at all !!

I don't think there are much formalities in Singapore unless you intend to have your wedding lunch done in VN.

Just register yourself with your Vietnamese gf. Witness maybe you can indicate your gf parents names and sibling name so that they do not have problems entering Singapore. They should be following our culture since your wedding is in Singapore.

Words of wisdom from experience. It takes many many years to change her thinking, especially the part for her to place her kids and husband first, before her hopeless lazy family. But if she is willing to change, then its smooth sailing from that day onwards.

Why her own kids also rank below her lazy family? Husband can understand but own kids??

Totally Agreed. Sons are their Priority. I read an articles in the past that Mother in Law force their daughter in law to abort their baby if it is a girl.

Communication with your VB is very important. Let her know what you like and dislike. If she doesn't agreed to it, it is very hard to stay together.

In reality, a happy marriage, both parties need to give and take.

Depending, some husbands will give more while others, wives will give more. It is always very difficult to force someone to agree with u all the while.

Agreed with you but how much to give and how much to take, it really hard to measure. I never force my BX to agree with me all the while but I wanted her to respect my decision. If my decision at fault, let me know where Im at fault.

I had few friends which married VB and I told them to tell them what you want and what you can provide 1st before marriage. If not, they will be no peace in the family. One didn't heed my advice, in the end, end up full of credit card debts and now waiting for him to wake up (from his dream) and divorce with his BX.
