Some have free SMS package, some free ringtone package, GPRS package, just set it to the free incoming call package can liao.

One thing about fucking China Mobile, they wanna complicate the packages so they can earn more.

Thats interesting. My number was from SZ.... Its a national roaming number, expensive to call even when i'm in the local area, but cheaper than normal when roaming. So far from the first day, i've never gotten free incoming calls.... I still have the plan in hardcopy.... still intact!!!

Just came back from my ZH trip. Damn tired and will follow up with a report when I am free.

Regarding the mobile package thingy, I am using the 神州行. I believe you get free incoming from local calls plus other freebies if you pay the 10rmb monthly subscription.

But if you are like me, chose the package no need to pay monthly free, you most likely will get only free caller id as a freebie.

Mine is also National roaming number. But as they change their plans, you can change yours to the latest le. If you dunno what to do, ask your mm to help lorr. Mine was done by my mm

I think bro Suck Harder is right. The plan is pay 10 a month. But save heaps on incoming calls.

Eateries/restaurant - Dong Bei Ren; Mao-jia restaurant near Changan Holiday Hotel; nite food carts next to the big MacDonald open space (right side if u are facing McDonald's front); seafood restaurant XinHaiLi (also have morning dim sum) - next to Paris KTV.

Alternate hotels - next to Paris KTV (new & glass bathrm); next to it is another bigger hotel which has a MP besides it too <didn't check any of these in time>

BBS - back alley of LHL (very narrow lane indeed, so different cmp to CP)

Additional KTV location - posh Passion (Dong Jin?..my limited Mandarin terrible..) KTV @ Changan Holiday; Alisan KTV is under reno (next to it is the Nanyang Seascape Hotel which has a sauna - rmb400++ 1 year plus ago - quite ex but I had 2 good outings there. Not sure now)

LHL - have more gers now compared 2 mths ago; cabana crowded around 8-9pm till 11plus...

Outings - shooting range (exp. it seems) : didn't try as it's located outskirt; go-kart @rmb25/pax for 10mins at TienDiRenJian building underground - good fun though not in open space

Alternate foot/body masg locations: one next to Min-An hotel; avoid the one just directly opposite Jinye (Golden Leaf) hotel - which leads to underground - the facility is quite rundown; walk further you reach the recommended Milan's masg (go 3rd flr); in between these two there's another - less posh <not explore yet>. TaiPingYang & the one just besides Jinye also not explore yet. Best masg location : Milan still.

Haircut: along LHL ~20rmb (cut). Nice semi-crew cut this round. Good neck masg.

Shopping: experience so-so (checked out only watches & dual-SIM h/p). More winter stuff coming up but not suitable for Sg weather hence little shopping is done.

KTV experience this round: Best - Sands KTV ger. Worst - Paris KTV ger, Wangfu ger (but the substituted ger was 2nd best, luckily). So-so : Passion.

I'll be in ZH next week (15-17 Nov). As this is my FIRST trip there, and I've got some spare time on my own, can anyone recommend any reasonable/cheap hotels that's accessible to all the "fun" places like MM, shopping, makan etc? As this is my 1st time there and I only have a few days, I want to avoid finding my way around and wasting time.

Apologies if this has been posted before. I tried looking at all the previous posts on this thread, and I got lost. This thread has 150+ posts and counting.

Appreciate any advice as soon as possible. PM will be much appreciated.

I stayed in ChangAn Holiday hotel this time. Well the hotel is good, but attitude maybe a bit 5 star too... Bed is certainly very comfortable (soft). Next time most likely I will stay in Jinyu due to the location!!!

For food, we tried also "有机厨房". Not bad food can definitely try.

Actually the English name for the KTV in ChangAn Holiday hotel is "Moving", I saw the print in the lift.

Different KTV girls I met have different rankings of KTV... But the most common list would be

1. Hai Wan KTV (Most models)
2. Wang Fu
3. Kang Tong (Moving)

Personally I find Wang Fu girls the best, though I had bad experience in that KTV.

For me, the best bonk would be my LHL bonk. One thing about LHL bonks, you need to be upfront with them on what you expect. Plus a bit of tips, they really deliver... although they quite pushy on time. Typically the mummy will start calling after 30mins...

But heck, i called the LHL girls at 2am and 3am... talk about round the clock service! haha.

One thing I found out is that the numbers that they give you on the street, actually it belongs to their mummy. Silly me only the 2nd time I called then I realise, I was actually negotiating with the mummy! Haha.

Also whatever amount (tips) you give to the girls, they will share it with their mummy.

ZH Sauna scene rocks too! Girl quality comparable to CP, service maybe CP better as some bros got ripped off in terms of service (myself included). But the price is definitely cheap!!! Cheaper than CP for sure... with discount coupon, it is possible to get a Jinyu sauna session at 200rmb before 8pm!


In conclusion based on my first trip of 4 nights,
ZH definitely has more non bonking things to do than CP. After my first trip here, I realise why some bros here say the girls in ZH in general more mature than CP. (More streetwise too IMHO!)

Girl quantity also I think CP has more. Quality is debatable! Price wise definitely ZH more expensive, especially the KTV. At 2, 8, 10, not much incentive for the girl to stay overnight, since only 200rmb more. The KTVs we been to, girls quantity at most 150 to 250 with not many rooms. Eg, Kan Tong KTV only has less than 30 rooms! Thus go KTV, best to go CP lah...

End Nov I will be in CP, anyone want to join? haha.
