My real life experience of love and Pain on a PRC

After reaching my hotel, at 1830, I continue to call and SMS May, but still got no response. I rang up Jason, asking if he heard anything from Jasmine about May.

Jason: ehh, where r u?
Me: CB lah, I am in Tokyo now. You heard anything or not?
Jason: I know u in Japan now, where r u?
Me: I am in the hotel room now, what's wrong
Jason: grab a sit first

A ice cold feeling creep up to my face

Me: Whaaattttt happen?
Jason: are u sitting down
Me: yes, I am sitting on the bed.
Jason: I heard that there was an accident

I nearly black out, my heart is pumping real fast, my whole body turn cold, my feet become jelly.

Me: OMG, where is May, is she okie? How is she? Where is she?
Jason: I just heard from Jasmine before you called, apparently May is in the hospital, Jasmine is rushing over. Jasmine heard from May cousin. They have no idea how badly is she hurt, her aunt is also rushing to the hospital.
Me: ...................... No .... No ..noooooooooooooooo, why it happen to May, I must know immediately ....

I am almost crying. ...... The heart is so very painful, hand and legs numb, I am not able to think straight ...

Me: what can I do, I need to fly back, I want to be by her side .... I need to go back now .....
Jason: get a hold of yourself, we do not know how bad is it.
Me: please let me know if u heard anything, Jason, Call me immediately, no matter what, i will go check out and fly back the next flight, I will go to the airport now.
I hung up, I keep mumbling to myself, I was like a zombie, I left the room without my bags. Halfway to the lift, I realize that I forgot my bags including my passports. My brain went blank, I was at a lost, I grabbed all mr belongings, lucky I have not unpack yet.

I rang up my travel agent, and request for the next flight. I was told that the next flight is midnight. That's way too long, but i was told that it will take me about 2 hours to get to the airport and another 1 .5 hours for check in and custom clearance, so no point getting on another non-direct flight, which will take longer to get back.

While still on the line with my travel planner, I got a call waiting signal. The callerID indicate Jasmine.

My heart skipped a beat.

With trembling fingers I press answer, and prayed for the best.

Jasmine: Hello.
