As the new season is about to begin in a few days time . I am not going to raise my expectation for the team as the same manager is still in charge . I also will not blame the player totally if they don't play well . Liverpool unfortunately have a manager who is still clueless in using his players or don't use them at all . Having said that I sincerely hope that the team will prove us wrong and rise to the occasion. To make Anfield a fortress once again . YNWA .

Coutinho and Firmino were involved in Copa America and were given 3 weeks off I think.
They had no training so their fitness level is not there yet and barely played 1 full match in pre-season.
Benteke had 60 minutes in pre-season against Swindon and with all the transfer issues to Liverpool, it prevented him having any pre-season with Aston Villa.

i hv more concern on mignolet.
if he cannot play well at the back when call upon, then half the battle is lost.

Yeah..... even Henderson also voice out he has many things to learn from Milner and hope Milner can guide him.
From the pre-season games it looks like Milner is oredi the defacto leader of the team although Henderson is wearing the captain's armband.

BR keep talking about last season's 6-1 thrashing by Stoke these few days. Although he did not say it out but can read from his body language and quotes that he is out for revenge in this coming match.

Lol...BR said he is using the stoke match to try to win back supporters after the 6-1 trashing last season...hopefully he walk the talk...more often than not, he disappoint...lets hope pool will walk away with 3 points now (the start of the 7 tough away games)
