Pool had plenty of chances in the first half but we finish poorly.

1 shot on target the entire match. and it's in the net...that's soccer, nomatter how many chances you get, it counts for nothing..i remember there was 1 match we had the ball in the net = the number of shots we have....today the chances we have counts for nothing...it's the sub-standard quality of players we have. really nothing to do with the coaches or manager...

It was very predictable. I told my friend before Manure took the corner kick, that this would score...surely...it happened as predicted.

No strikers and it showed. Lallana and Milner worked hard all game but they just have no end product, in effect useless! Firmino had a couple of decent chances, but he's no striker. Benteke appears to be definitely out of the door by the end of the season and I don't understand the use of Caulker as a last minute striker?! As for Henderson, he needs to buck up both his form and leadership role as well.

Same old story, we can't defend set pieces properly - no positioning, lack of awareness, no aggression in attacking an incoming ball - and we can't score goals either because of a total lack of clinical finishing.

United won that game because they have a world class keeper and had the best striker on the pitch on the day (really can't stand Shrek but this is a fact). If you want to be a top class team, these two positions are vital, fill in the rest later. We have neither a good goalkeeper (who mind you was not at fault for the goal) or a reliable #9.

Might as well give full focus on the EL going forward. Our only chance now (very slight though) for CL next season.

Finally, what a task Klopp has this summer. Monumental!!

Liverpool played well but the team did not capitalize on the chances. Some players looked tired while other gave their best.

Rodgers has spoken about his time in Liverpool. I feel as long as the Americans own the club we can forget about a star player coming to the club unless he is available for 20million!

we had so many players back defending and in fact 4 going for the header and yet fellaini got his head to the ball (well, guess his hair has an unfair advantage, but that can't be the excuse)... and when the ball came back from the bar, their only other player in the box got to rebound...!!!
once he took the shot, u know it will be a goal as long as it is on target, simply cannot expect our keeper pulling off a save (he can't even give us any confidence, let alone his defenders in front of him)...

man utd is showing the importance of having a world class keeper, they secure 4th spot last season owing to their keeper, how many matches they had won in the same fashion as last night...
their keeper saved them at least 10-15 pts, yet ours gave away 10-15 pts.. that's the difference shows in the table...

teams know how to beat us now, just defend and hang on, eventually we will gift them a goal...

I guess Klopp IS The Normal One after all. There are just somethings that he cannot fix overnight . We have to brace ourselves for the next few games as I am sure some of them would have watched yesterday's game and realised that Liverpool CAN be beaten.

As the games goes by , I find myself losing faith in our current goalkeeper . He does not give me the confidence of a world class keeper . You pay peanuts for a goalkeeper you get handless monkey . I think Liverpool really need another goalkeeper . But in the meantime I feel that Klopp should make use of Ward .

Despite spending so much on strikers last summer ; Liverpool is still not able to replace the goals scored by Suarez and Sturridge . The transfer committee has got to go . They are getting players that Liverpool can't use . They have failed to replace Suarez ; Carragher and Gerrard . They are unable to attract world class players . Please give Klopp an his team the full control of the transfer activities.

Really HOPE Liverpool will get the players that Klopp wants . I pity those paying fans at Anfield . If this trend continues I believe the boo boys will be back .

Let me share with you all one "Asok Fable"

There was once a rich man that owns many race horses which were specially bred for races and were imported from UK and other EU countries.

Soon all those race horses were outdone and outran by younger and stronger Brazilian and Uruguayian horses. The owner was desperate and was advised by a selection committee to look for Mongolian horses that once rode by Genghiz Khan that conquered a large of the world. Feeling CONvinced, he imported some fine breeds of Mongolian horses, hoping that they can wallop those Brazilian and S. American bred horses.

Soon the Mongolian horses failed one after another. He quickly asked a CONsultant to analyze what went wrong.......the CONsultant found out that "Mongolian horses" are good at and speedy in running along a straight path and when subjected to running in circuits, they could not do cornering well and thus lost speed and poor to perform.

Moral of the story: What seems to be excellent may not be also excellent when you bought it and use it in your system

That is the reason why that head less gorilla could score so many goals in Aston Villa but failed miserably in LIV.
