I've had the good fortune to be able to visit this establishment on a few ocassions. I never fail to visit them whenever I am in T o k y o. La Siora was the first really gaijin (foreigner) -friendly BDSM house. Believe me, when I first started calling these places, they were the only ones who really welcomed me. La Siora is located in what seems like an half office/half apartment building. The use one unit as an 'office', where they receive clients and help them choose which lady is suitable (unless, of course, you have pre-booked. There is an additional fee for pre-booking). They have 3 other units which they use for play, decorated in different themes.

If it is your first visit, you also have to sign up as a member, which also costs a bit. Also, you have a fill in a checklist stating your experience, likes/dislikes. This will be kept with your membership file, so whichever domina you choose, she will know what gets you going as she would have read your file.

I have managed to session with a few of the dominas, but I haven't been there in awhile and the only one who's still there is Shinju. She's a really nice lady and I had a nice chat with her before and after the session. Others I have seen include Towako, Ryouko and Yurika. Yurika has gone independent I believe. Ryuoko and Towako might be with other establishments. Ryuoko speaks excellent English as she spent a large part of her life in LA.

The owner of La Siora is a very nice lady called Rie. I believe she was also a domme once, but is retired from professional domme-ing. She still dresses in very wicked fetish wear and shiny black patent boots whenever she's manning the office... Also had great chats with her while I was waiting for my sessions.

Let me provide you with some straight facts about the BDSM Scene in Thailand

Till 1998 there simply was none. Then my wife and I started Chateau Jade with four Dommes. For almost 5 years we were the only Dungeon in the entire region and then one of our own Dommes (Misori) left and started her own House. Another of the original four CJ Dommes had left earlier to marry but she decided to get back into the game on her own and is now known as Mistress Christy. So you see, all of the legitimate SM here originated with CJ,

Now Mistress Midori and Mistress Christy are still both close friends of ours and we talk frequently.

Chateau Jade recently moved into new larger premises as of 11/06. For some time now I have been retired and the business is operated by my wife and the Dommes (currently Mistresses Tahn, Mistress Ohm and Mistress April), First time subs never even meet me. Not ever.

Some stats: we have been operating almost a decade, in fact out tenth anniversary is 10 months away. We have been operating twice as long as the second longest running SM House in all south east Asia (Midori's) and have a far larger following. More than 3000 subs from almost 200 nations have been to CJ (not counting return visits) and fully 75% have returned at least once. An untold but large number have returned many times. Those numbers speak fpr themselves.

As explained on the website we only do long sessions from 6 hours to 1 week. We leave shorter sessions to others. If someone wants a 1-2 hr session I recommend Mistress Midori's or Mistress Christy's.

Another Thai Domme who I hear good things about is Empress Lucy is Phuket who is a former proteege of Midori's. I do not know her myself and she never worked at CJ.

I cannot recommend any of the rest, such as Thaidomina (spinoffs from Midori now squabbling among themselves), or the one in Pattaya. Another complete pile of rubbish is thaimistress sara which is an escort service and has no dungeon premises, only doing outcall and has no connection with any of the real Scene here. Caveat emptor.

Totally bogus was Mistress Alaya supposed English Domme in BAngkok however she has folded her tent and returned to Manchester UK. Good.

A recent development has been three so called mistress bars or fetish clubs, one on Soi 33, one on Patpong 2 and one in Pattaya all owned by a Frenchman who knows nothing of the Scene and cares less. The girls are all prostitutes without SM training, the prices are high for what they offer and the girls are not even top shelf by the standards of Patpong/Soi Cowboy which are low. I doubt these places will last long enough to prove a nuisance to us.

No brag, just fact.

Oh, and we have net changed our prices since 1998.

I do not know Gina/Gaow personally. I can tell you that she was a prostitute and not the Mistress she claimed to be; in fact she was quite blatant about liking to do BBBjs and get fucked in the ass w/o condom. Her Mistress Gaow website outlasted her brief wannabe career as a scene personality, sois-dissant, by about a year. Her departure from that was not quite as you describe. Fact is she set a sub on fire and in the process started a fire in the hotel room and the police were summoned along with the firefighters. The sub was hospitalized. In short she was an unsafe untutored incompetent.

I once asked Marc the owner of Eden about her, was was not at all complimentary. Marc is a nice guy (now retired) and a good friend and does not often speak ill of his staff, but he truly had nothing good to say about Gina (Gaow).

I am aware that some members of forums esp Bangkok Tonite have erected a little personality cult around her, for their own reasons, but what I say is Caveat Emptor. I do not kno her whereabouts nor what she is calling herself these days. How many times have you actually been to a Japanese dungeon?

The Japanese Scene exists for the Japanese and to a very great degree no one else is welcome. Just like Japanese nightlife all around the region. Try to get in and a fellow who is probably missing his little finger will tell you it's a private club, sorry, members only.

By and large the mizu-shobai (nightlife business) and the fuzuku (perverted sex business) are closed to non-Japanese.

There are a few Japanese SM clubs on the Internet that appear to be open to non-Japanese. But you will still find that the Mistresses by and large speak little or no English or any other language than Japanese.

If you get past all those barriers (say you speak Japanese fluently) you will find that most if not all Japanese mistresses are switches and also sell sex. This is simply supply and demand in Japan where the scene is primarily male-Dominant female submissive.

Also in general I do not find the Japanese Mistresses to be very prone to pay attention to sub's limits, nor to be very safe in their SM play.

Finally the cost of travel and accomodations in Japan are quite high. I have lived there. Have you?

The prevailing prices for SM services in Japan are lower than Hong Kong, but significantly higher than Bangkok.

Naturally if you simply prefer Yamato nadeshiko (flowers of the Yamato plains) to the women of South East Asia, then, have at them. Nothing I can do to help you there.
