Honeypot bar had been raided by a CIDG operations team from Manila last night.

At least 46 female workers and 3 foreign staff including one Ray Kelly, the alleged owner, were brought to Camp Crame in Quezon City for investigation.

Havent been to AC in two years and it seems some things have changed and some things have not

Anyways Im due there on Sunday close to midnight and Im trying to book my usual hotel (Tiger) but its fully booked.

Anyone can advise any hotel in Fields that I can just walk in close to midnight and get a room at about max 1500 a night? Any info given is greatly appreciated..

Try walkabout bro.it's right on fields near Mac Donald.pool room or delux room with balcony is recommended.1700peso.standard is 1500peso.U get 10%discount with cash payment.

Blue Nile hotel also quite ok but room very small!not enough space for my 2 or 3gal quest

The 2hotel about always full so try to give them a email for your requested date.

the raid is target to specific bar .. when they don't pay up .. or knowingly engage under-age girls ..

when US threaten Phil for human trafficking, they raid a couple of bars (the mayor mostly warn the bars to tidy up the act .. but some bar owner not cared .. ) then the bar gets' barricaded, and then the girls are picked up .. plus any customer in 'obnoxious' position .. with the girl ... and the powerful Philippine Police, powerless to fight the NPA and MILF, will brandish loaded M16s and Armalites, and do a show of force ..

Nothing new .. perfectly normal in AC ..

And then after a few million change hand, the bar owner gets released, the mamasan gets held for a month, and then released .. life is back to normal

And .. the girls/mamasan are held is super tight security - imagine HDB Blocks, with only restriction- no visitor often .. and then, the girls can, with escort, go shopping etc ..

Just don't get caught in compromising position .. if not, all's well ..

Anyone can advise? Im not getting a reply from the hotels I emailed... Im wondering if I should just make my way to Balibago and go on a hotel to hotel search...

Its a risk to go walk-in for accomodation....... better to make a reservation as most hotels within walking distance of the entertainment outlets are often fullhouse.

Hint: Want the hotel to reply your email? I always attach a Korean sounding nickname to email....... reply guaranteed !

Dunno the reasons for this round of raids...... but the last round of raids were targetted at the supporters of the outgoing Mayor by the new Mayor....... especially hard hit was the biggest investor in AC aka Mr. Lewis the owner of ABC Hotel...... not only was his hotel raided..... they oso hit his girly joints and other legitimate businesses too...... dirty politics and we cheongsters have to suffer

Yes, that is sad. I have many friends there and the going is bad. Amount asked is out of this world and to make matters worse, its been internationally reported already.
