I have to apologise for this delay in the story. Got an urgent assignment and flew to GZ. Non-stop meetings ever since.. No time to let loose at all.

Have to continue the story when I am back next week.

Hi Hi..Welcome to hk, I am in Singland at the moment. Will be back to HK this Sunday. Might be going up to China next week, perhaps you can pm me your hk mobile number, we keep in touch, how long you gonna stay in hk? These few months will see me running about between Sg and Msia as I got some project going on.

Brother, if you are looking for fun, GZ is not the place, and not so safe. You should go GZ for a day to have a feel of it, then visit Dongguan or Shenzhen for fun, which is easily accessible by train from GZ. Donguang (Chang Ping, Chang Ann) hotel are cheaper and good quality, look up for the thread on these two places in this forum.

I c. So wad u suggesting is that I go GZ for a day but dun stay there, go either Chang Ping or Chang Ann hotel? Correct?

Hotel cheaper meh? Aiee.. now travel plans might haf to alter drastically. Tiger airways offer 50% off for flights to GZ man. Original was like sgd 60-80 (around there).. now is ilke SGD 40+ for round trip.

Hmm, the hotel booking thread here got hotel in Chang ping ma? So.. from GZ to chang Ping.. is how much n travel how long ah?

You can go Cp from GZ train station, only half an hour by train and cost RMB45 to 60. Chang Ping hotel are cheaper and better place for fun than GZ. You can check it out at the "Events in Chang Ping" thread, I usually stayed at the Hui Hua or Mirathon hotel. equivalent to 5 stars type and cost about RMB380 with internet and breakfast. PM me if you need more detail.

CP to Hongkong is also fairly near, about an hour by train. You can travel to HK, Zhu Hai, Macau, or Dongguang within the golden Rectangle when you visit HK or Macau. Tiger go to SZ, GZ, or Macau. Jetstar go to HK or Macau. Take your pick if on budget. UA, SQ, CX all fly to HK at price from S$388 to 578 depending on season.
