For KAHA, if you always use their service and use the same hotel, just call KAHA to fax the reservation to the hotel you want, pay at hotel can liao. There is also one KAHA in town if I'm not wrong?

I have not been to Batam for a few years already,
as this week end is the big countdown long holiday,
my new colleagues are asking me to bring them for some fun,
and since i lost touch of the actions there , i humbly ask the following..

1. Will it be very crowded this weekend to cheong ?
2. Will we be targeted by the local police for some foul play.

thank you for any infos

* used to stay at hotel Singa,, rooms are with bath tub..
price about S$45 onwards.. and penguin used to charge $28 lol

Travel with some one you know lah. And dont offend anyone. Yes, there are alot of scams, but mostly they are arranged by people who want to harm you.

Of course, dont do drugs. And be careful.

I have been here for a long time, and was set up by someone, not in cheonging, but in business. In the end, they lan lan becos of some strong friends making the calls. From that day onwards, I am more careful with who I deal with.

some small experience,

found out Utama hotel have fully renovated,quite new & charging 188K = $33 per standard rm

new ktv opening soon,quite big n grand at Utama too

cheong with frds at Titanic ktv,really lousy service & gals there attitude was really poor & e papasan was helpless during our complaint,really can't make it

heard alot of rumours abt S'porean there kena caught doing drugs & they will ask for a $10K for release or else u will be jail

latest changing rate 5830

that goes to show that you can't be too carefull....I have had friends whom got caught with the girl planting a pill in the room and later police raided..asked for SGD12K...reduced to SGD$2K...

Just be carefull bros....Batam is very hungry for money...

Dude, at what hotel was this at? Which period did they get caught? It's best to find out to see if there is a pattern going on. As one of the bros mentioned, it would be good if we knew someone in Batam or Balai or maybe go with someone who is familiar with the place.
