Guys, becuase of some postings on other threads I thought I'll add this in:

The ladyboy escorts that come to Singapore have one primary target in mind - people that pay $200 plus per hour - whether they're white, brown or purple for that matter. (Although for whatever reason you do get the exceptions.) They come here with the first thought being - how to cover their air fare, hotel etc. which hits the thousand dollar mark quite easily. But as a local who's got much more time and knows the "lobangs" so well ; we're used to paying between $30 to $150 for bonks!
So, we're not the automatic first choice! We've all got to remember this, myself included. I feel really rotten and even hurt when a ladyboy picks a better paying customer over me. But my thinking is, why should I pay more than necessary? I could spend the savings on booze or heck add on more and get another shot. The fact is, I may be rejected by miss A but miss B and C is ready and waiting because there are dozens out there.
You know, it's something like when we go shopping and ask for a lower price. The sharp shopkeeper senses that we need the item and refuses to go down on price? And many people fall for it, forgetting that the next door shop could have a better bargain. Ya, sure, it's a hassle to find something else but if we don't bother the power goes from us, the buyer to the seller.

here in singapore I can appreciate some of the frustration by local guys getting passed up for the "deep pockets" of westerners. That said a lot of us westerners also find it equally hard to stump up $200 as many of us work on local contracts. I am not looking for sympathy but just putting across another point of view. I am realatively new to the LB scene because high prices for my white face does not make it as enjoyable as maybe it should or could do.

Always the first question I get when calling is "where u from and what's ur nationality", the answer to this dictates the price. Having said that I have got below $200 when I have gone on about economic crisis and we are all suffering etc, which is true, sometimes works sometimes doesn't.

Anyway will post a bit more often hopefully.

Bro Toshni123, understand your frustration. The problem is, as long as you get enough Ang Mohs or Koreans/Japanese willing to pay these prices it looks like it'll be a standard.
It's a pity Lor 16 in Geylang isn't what it used to be. You would have paid $100/$120 for an hour for quality comparable to some of those from Orchard Towers a year or two ago. Speaking of which, you may get lower prices from the odd Thai or Filipino trans that sometimes hang around the ground floor of OT and the stretch till the Isetan department store. However, do be very careful of your valuables when you pick them up. There have been incidents in the past, albeit isolated.

Bro, Irene happens to be a pioneer in the Rowell area. If I'm not mistaken she was even from the Johore Road area. I'm pretty sure she's local.
Whether it's Changi Village, Orchard Towers or wherever it's a territorial thing.
They cannot suka suka go where they want. Any ladyboy wandering in the wrong area will be told off or even assaulted. Each area normally has a senior sister, a "mak ayam" in Malay and she decides who belongs.
Also any ladyboy caught stealing from a customer will be bashed up. I've seen such a case in Geylang once.
As I understand it, it's a similar story in Malaysia too.
