I have no idea what you are talking about...

But yellow card refers to the card that legalized gals working in GL/KS/Pertain carry. Any gal on a yellow card is not allowed to come back to Singapore once she returns the yellow card and goes home.

In China , everything can be done if you got $$$ ...i know some people with 2 china passports ...so nothing is impossible if u got the dough in china ..

Yellow card is called MJP(Multiple Journey Pass).

Anyway TS, one way to determine the period of ban is to look at the back page of the ppt. Number of crosses will determine the duration. Each cross is 6 mths.

Well bro, u could be right.. I dunno how much changes there have been.. To my knowledge, yellow card is called mjp as well but clearance method is different from the green card which can be consisted of the various types such as student pass, ltvp, wp(with and without pic)..

If there are changes, u might wan to advise TS further.

not that its not been attempted before, there have been many sightings of ex-yellowcard holders revisiting sg for short social visits. there have also been few isolated cases of ex-yellowcard holders returning for another stint in the legal broad.

how they managed to do it? fast & pray very hard that the ICA officer at the immigration gantry good mood & permit their re-entry.

Once they have a yellow card, whether or not they finish their 2 years in Singapore. Upon their return they are brought to ICA 1st made to sign a form informing they are ban from Singapore, as for the how long its unspecified. I got a friend whose GF used to be an ex WL in Singapore. Well they got married in Thailand legally and only managed to lift her ban after 2 years of marriage. Well I can only say tough luck trying to lift her ban coz its not going to happen if its just yr gf.

Actually what your Thai Gf can do is to change her name on her ID and get a new passport apparently its very simple to do that in Thailand unlike Singapore where we have to get a lawyer to do a deed poll and all that, but please do not go to ICA to do an extension, during courtship that's what my friend's wife did, she came to Singapore quite often and had several extensions but on a fateful day they got her to do a Fingerprint and she was caught, this is considered illegal entry and also they do consider the white card declaration during trial as its considered fraudulent and minimum sentence in Singapore for illegal entry is jail term for not less then 12 months.

She was sentenced to 13 months in CWP got out after 10 months minus the holidays and weekends.

Bro, its not going to happen. Ban would not automatically lift you actually have to write in with really valid reasons and its going to be a tough and long battle with ICA.

The whole idea of this card system is keep undesirable characters out of the country.

If the yellow card restrictions can be lifted after a period of time, it defeats the whole purpose of the scheme.

To make matters worse, allowing these women to marry Singaporeans, procreate and contribute towards the production of the next generation of Singaporeans will have dire consequences on the quality of the gene pool. Ask yourself what sort of values a whore is going to impart to her children!!!

wow, thanks for so many replies. but that case previously, well, my friend already gave up on that lady. but I now have a new case, the details are as follows :

- Lady is from PRC
- Was previously yellow card
- Not sure what happened in between, but something along the line of she was supposed to go back after surrendering the yellow card, but she did not, and stayed back to work as FL
- She then subsequently stayed in Sin for 1 year plus, before going to ICA
- She was jailed for about 2 weeks at CWP
- Fingerprints were taken

What are the chances for this one ?
