Security guard for condos. Pay is $2k+ a month and locals are preferred. But it is a 12hr shift. Low stress job, plenty of personal time to read.

And if you choose to do the permanent night shift, can even sleep on the job and wake only when a car comes up. Because of the scarcity of night shift guards, condos are willing to compromise on the 9pm to 9am shift.
