To all bros who questioned whether Snood had a Western Blot test...

At Raffles Medical, 2 tests are conducted together for HIV Detection;
HIV P24 ANTIGEN and the HIV ANTIBODY TEST.

Raffles' HIV ANTIBODY TEST comprises of an ELISA and WESTERN BLOT test.
If ELISA turns out positive, a confirmationary WESTERN BLOT is automatically conducted. If Western Blot is negative, it will be declared as "Non Reactive".

Only when ELISA and Western Blot is positive, then it will be reported as "Reactive". Unlike the AFA who conducts (needle-prick) Rapid Tests, Raffles' doctors extract sufficient quantity of blood (a vial) from the patient to conduct the above 3 tests.

I'm glad that you felt compelled to discuss your positivity here and to warn fellow Samters about your plight. I'm sure many here are thankful for your generosity . 1) I suggest u take a second opinion on the test results, do a retest
at DSC. If results turns out to be positive, no use brooding or crying
abt it, what's done is done.

2) Take up courage to speak to your wife and get her to do testing and
your child as well. Hopefully your child is not infected. If your child is not
infected, look around your brothers/sisters/relatives who could take long
term care for the innocent child.

3) If your wife is not infected too you should probably live apart from them
but take care of their material needs.

No amount of apologising/words needs to be said, is the action that would make their hearts lighten now.

Lastly no use trying to get back at Winnie, I suggest you look her up one day and suggest for her to do testing as well, you do not know who u got it from, lets assume she is innocent first.

If she is guilty, asks her why she do it, if you no like answer I WANT u to report her to authorities, without any hesitation.

There is something from thailand that may be able to help you. Its not a drug; all herbal.
it wont cure you but will dramatically reduce the symptoms of HIV. They have conducted experiments on AIDS victim there with good success. They actually can go back to work and lead normal lives. Ironically, they go back to their vices when they get better.
