So sorry that you had to wake to realities. We are hardworking Singaporean males, & mostly kind having lived in a protected & sheltered environment since 1965, sacrificed by many for decades to put Singapore where it is today, but sadly will not stand a chance against our neighbors from other lands whom suffered & have only 1 goal - to survive, thru making use of our emotional weaknesses rather than to play with our pragmatism which is far stronger than them.

Letting go may be difficult, as she may still have your phone number. You are still a patron to her in this industry where each is the sum of whole to support her lifestyle. Her mentality will be to not lose even one, & will try every emotional trick in the book to hook you back.

There are many other courses of action that can disentangle yourself. Block her number and the most important factor is to open up yourself to other women, as many as possible or where sustainable budget allows, to realize she isnt the only one capable of providing that physical & emotional support you craved for, regardless if you are young or old, rich or average, handsome or ugly.

As long as you have Yusoff Ishak in your wallet & willing to pay, other women of all kind will welcome you in this industry. It's only a sad reality, a weakness of males more so those whom come sheltered lives, which we hardworking singaporean males must turn the tables- to hurt no one & not be hurt by anyone.

May all realize this industry is nothing more than another business enterprise, like cinemas, car repair, computer sales, insurance, etc. It's all about business - to provide a service in return for money, in order to survive. It's not charity.

Most hardworking Singaporeans will find difficulty in relationships, as it is not taught in schools or workplace where we excel by working hard & smart. Spore women are taught the same & thus have equal opportunities like men, & with higher expectations as they have short shelf life-married with a good partner by 30 or face poverty later. Don't blame them. It's Spore culture.

So it can be quite overwhelming when a Spore male craving for physical & emotional support enters this industry's establishments where foreign ladies from poor nations r taught at young to give good service for renumeration, unlike Spore women whom demand equal treatment.

Worse is to think that such foreign ladies attention & affections are real love, and thus the Spore male fall prey to their wiles and presumed easy target to become their ATM daily.

Just test yourself - walk away and find another such establishments, & you will find the same or better treatment of attention & affections, equally with beautiful girls if one desires such as beauty is only skin deep & in one's mind, as long as there is money or a budget in the wallet. it's only a biz transaction, the way we would pay for services in a restaurant, car parks, etc.


The best advice is that - what happens that night at such establishments, ends there, wake up next day and focus on our jobs/biz where real money is earned for our own survival.

I agree with you that not all women in this industry r money grabbing, but in the end, one must realize that they are in this industry for money to survive.

Love alone does not pay the rent, sadly, nor the kind heart from rare knights in shining armor.. It's about numbers, the more customers they have, the more chance they will survive, to give a better life to their own loved ones, be it boyfriends who won their hearts, or family... Blame them not. They too only seek to live.

Let's use the analogy of Cinema to put across the concept of business transaction easily so that more can understand.

One can be overwhelmed by the Cinema, as it has great sound system, best movies, comfortable environment, etc. It is a form of escape for 2hrs from drudgeries of daily living, to be transported into another dimension/fantasy.

One can easily fall in love with the Cinema, & even addicted to it. The Cinema too loves you, but so long as you continue to come & pay for the services.

However, if you wish to bring it the NEXT level, to make the Cinema your partner, it is not impossible. You only need to be an investor, with deep pockets to buy the Cinema's share on the stock market. Even if you can afford it, it will at max be 49% stake, as the Cinema will always want CONTROL-51% stake.

Worse-it may even sell between 1% to 20% share holding to others. You with 49% are still not in control unless you can get others to agree with you to decide on issues, which may be near impossible unless offers are better than what the Cinema can offer.

Similarly with going full throttle on love with girls in the nightlife industry, you will be welcomed as a partner, but never with FULL control, & worse, there are no legal avenues to pursue for any defaults unlike legitimate businesses, as such industrial contracts are only based upon mutual unsigned trust.

The point is - hurt no one and do not be hurt by anyone. We Singaporeans excel by working hard & smart at school and later at work, proven by national achievements, but none taught us to play hard & smart. It is time to turn the tables, collectively as Spore males, & live life
