Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

The good hotel like Royal Amsterdam are booked way ahead. I normally stayed at here or the Bangkok Hotel. Both within my budget and right in the centre of Field Ave. So if you want good locations, got to book ahead in advance. hehe

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

This is a good example of not readnig the thread in detail

I already spoke about spicy food and so did Abang etsys.

You still asking sia?

The first time i came to AC i could not find spicy food.

So i started walking around with tobasco sauce...... extra hot version.....

so u gotta be creative in that sense...

There are two places i can recommend:

1) Emericos on Fields.... Serves fantastic curry. And if you are not Malay and eat pork you can even try their Pork vindaloo eurasian dish. Ask for extra spicy

2) Steves curry at Phoenix hotel... also recommendd by etsys

if you got any other places to head to please let me know as well

I glad many of you booked and coming. Hope to meet up and strengthen friendship.
Have to attend to my companion now. Just back from my pool and barhop.
I gave my man friend a treat earlier. I offered any girl who kissed him 5p a kiss for him and to form a line. Ended with him having an experience of a life time. 2000p was given out. Do your maths. Money well spent for a friend.

Hi bro,was wondering hows your experience at Bangkok hotel?heard the room is really small but neverless clean wanted to try thier standard room at 1100peso per night but was fully book my last trip there.

Only downside they have no pool but it's a steal for that price right on fields I think.had stayed many times on walkabout balcony room opposite and saw many Korean in and out of Bangkok hotel.

Wow bro are u staying in the 1000usd per night room at abc?

Spicy food I recommend thaibaht restaurant on perimeter just next to candy bar.not really authentical compare to thailand but that's the best thaifood I can find in ac.the menu is suitable for our Asian taste bud just tell the server to inform the chef(thailady boss)cook it for khun Thai spicyness instead of farang ang mo and u might find yourself blowing fire later.

Tequila reef off real street on fields serve good mexican food.jalapeño and hot sauce dishes makes my barfine jump later and complain her pussy is on fire.

Cheers

You think I am Mr "hand-sum" that once I reach AC and all he girls will flock to me? Or you think I have P10,000 to burn that all the bars wil welcome me?

Please lah..... I am only a regular guy that can't even afford to have S$100 to burn in AC.

buddy, i never done this route but most common & cheapest travel mode is bus in the PI.
email victory liner to enquire if they have a bus fm tarlac/concepcion to angeles. they'll let you know which bus passes that route n where u can catch it. for e.g. it might be a bus fm dagupan to manila but will stop at dau. the Dau terminal, which is 5 mins fm fields. wherever u're coming from, that's your stop for angeles.
usually buses leave every 30 to 60 mins n u can just show up to get a ticket.
they're very prompt with email replies and directions.

u can also try genesis.

“Lets not call it “AC” or “Angeles City” in these matters, as we can all understand that the City itself has little or nothing to do with the issues and concerns with the little dirty street of Fields and Perimeter Road and their bars.
The local residents in Angeles City have a shit-all concern about the bars on Fields or the foreign visitors it attracts. Most of the power-brokers in AC hold court in places like; Pink Lady, Juliana’s, Engrande, DunkShot, Tycoon, Sideline, Sakai, Models, and the various other KTV/GRO styled joints around AC that cater to the Pinoy upper class. The middle-class converge on the joints on Aniceto Gueco St, passing through Bonifacio on the way to Marquee Mall and the NLEX.
anyone heard or been to any of these places?
maybe its not good to go where the locals party but i'm keen to just check out during my next trip. tks!

Bangkok is a racist hotel.
It is run by Koreans and priority goes to their own countrymen...... having a confirmed reservation does not guarantee you a room there as they will give up your room to a Korean walk in guest.

Directly across the road from Bangkok is the Walkabout hotel..... very much better than the Bangkok in service, friendliness, ambience and the price difference in only 100p.

was told blue nile had reasonable biryani but never tried it myself. don't even know if they're still open after the raid

there's some nice restaurants, cafes opposite the pagcor casino. tried mr frosty for pinoy food. very gd, large portions. p800 for about 4 dishes for 4 pax. it's next to marlim mansion.

fortune hongkong seafood was another.

swagman hotel has a restaurant tat has decent asian - pinoy, thai, indian - & western. very hot wait staff too!

all these places are in the Diamond sub-division. 3-5 mins by trike fm Fields. P50 if you're alone.

http://www.google.com/maps/myplaces?...&ctz=-480&z=17

there's also a spa next to the gym. p250 for 1-hr clean massage. i had a male masseuse. no complains!

other than that i had my chow at SM Mall. food court at the back on level 1 and plenty of restaurants serving anything u can dream of.
