i think this is more of an ego issue. when i am in phuket, sometimes i talk to the bar girls and try to build a rapport with them to see if they can look pass me as a customer and maybe they will agree to go back to the room with me for free. this can happen but i always leave money for them at the end of the day because i know they deserve it and in some cases need it. but of cos i am happy if a bar girl agrees to go with me for free. that boosts my ego but i will always leave money sometimes even more than the market rate.

seriously u go to patong, a nightlife heaven and try to save a few bucks? nah dont need to. boost ur ego and do the right thing. pay a discounted amount at the very least. unless the girl is not in p4p.

Almost agree with u totally. imho Even those not in the p4p most of them still need the extra cash.

No matter what, those ppl (including me) are still earning Thai baht.

Bro, that true. But after 1 incident that i have a gal who stay with me for almost 1 day and she did not ask for any money. But on the last night when leaving to airport she cry and say love me want to follow me to spore she is sick and tired on this kind of life. Make me feel so sad and sinful.

But during my last trip i saw her with another Thai guy together.....

i seldom see cheapo farangs to be honest. i really have to hand it over to them. those that ring the bells in the bar i witnessed are all farangs. and if a farang facies a bar girl, she can get a lot of lady drinks. i am not that cheap but seriously cannot even compete with them. have to use my wits and humor instead.

on another subject one good thing i observed from this trip is that prices have not gone up by much compared to maybe 2 yrs ago. there are a lot of competition, as a matter of fact i think supply is much more demand. even more so for nightlife, because nowadays the tourists are more family oriented. so i dont forsee prices going up esp. during low season.

1st week = millionaire spending
2nd week = somewhat rice man
3rd week = normal man
4th week = cheapo
so if the BGs meet those guavas on the last week then eat grass loh.
