IMHO, a 3-0 scoreline should be a death knell for Liverpools' chances to get into the finals. Not that easy to overcome that as we did not score any away goal too

We did not play badly but as usual Salah and Mane played very well except they seem to be not sharp and clinical in finishing at goals.

IMHO, Alison is not that good afterall, just a mediocre goalie.

Need to start afresh next season

The difference in class was Barca took their chances well whereas Pool fired blanks. Pool strikers were not as sharp n clinical.. That's the contrast u see between the original Messi n the Egyptian Messi!

At the highest level, football is about moments and the quality to seize them unerringly....unerringly....that was the only difference between us and Barca last night.

Mane with a poke - missed. Milner with 2 open shots at goal - easy saves. Salah with an open goal - post. Brutal result.

Also think Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has shown that he should now be Germany's #1 in place of Manuel Neuer.

As for the great Messi, I was amazed by his 2nd goal but disappointed when he pulled that lame Neymar stunt after Milner pushed him.

Anyways see you at Anfield next week Barca.

We go again against Newcastle on Saturday.

Runners up League Cup 2016, runners up Europa Cup 2016, runners up Champions League 2018 n runners up in the EPL 2013/14, 2018/19...

I expect no favours from Rafa and he is going to make his team compact.
Klopp will have a hard time because Firmino is a big doubt and no player can break a team down in the final third like him.

that was a close shave and we needed to fight hard for the 3 points. Newcastle never did us any favors.

hope the head injury to Salah is not serious.

Duno what is Newcastle playing for since they have nothing to fight for also!
This is the best match I have seen Newcastle play this season. In fact, Pool was lucky to have won.
