Didn't go to those 2 you mentioned..my cabby recommended Moonlight. Be specific.... what type of friend, SG or VN, restaurant or hotel, luxury restaurant, hotel or budget, the list of questions goes on....

It is like in SG, u attend a wedding, how much in ang pow depending on a few factors.

anyway ang pow or lixi amount depends

1. 200,000 VND for temp tentage or 500,000 if luxury hotel or wedding convention
2. double amount if attend as couple
3. triple amount if relatives

- above was the going rate given to me by local Saigonese

There is no need to personally experience making a girl go thru abortion in order to understand what is happening, this my dear H88 is called empathy similar to what you have said you have done i.e. donating to orphanage, you do not need to go thru their kind of poverty and loss of parents to be able to empathise with their difficulties
