Yup you can but check out the restrictions first before committing yourself, I would advise going to those foreign owned banks as they allow multiple currencies account instead of just USD & VND

Yesterday immigration was damn pack.

For those with priority, apec etc. U see more than 30 ppl at express immigration. Dont queue there. Go to normal lane. Faster.

Haha...u go hanoi, worst, taxi 3 -4x more.

If tsn move out. Taxi fare sure also a bomb ( think min will cost 500k ). Vietnam taxi consider ex alr.

TSN moving where?

I usually stay 1 or 2 places, either right smack near D10 or Go Vap (for free) or at D1. I travel light so I normally walk over to the domestic terminal and get a grab bike to where I want to go.

Taxi from TSN to D1 should run 250 to 300k depending if they want to rip you off. Expensive? Maybe relatively speaking but well worth it if you want to escape the rain and heat.

Why would anyone stay at ulu ulu place to save cost is beyond me. It's not like hotels or Airbnb are expensive at D1. Plenty of decent places for USD20/night near Ben Thanh.

Some one said D10 or anywhere outside D1 is ulu ulu...u got the hint...

Use Grab to D1 I pay less than 100k per trip...sometimes with rewards only pay 50k...

TSN is not moving...no fake news...in fact they building T3...

i thot they say..... Tan Son Nhat airport will serve the international and domestic flights until the completion of the new Long Thanh International Airport. in 5 -6yrs time.

No Lah, TSN to D1. approx 120 to 150K nia lah. TSN to D1 less thn 10km.

as a guide every 20km abt 300k +/-

Wikipedia dun tell the whole story lah...read the real news...TSN will not go away or serve only domestic flights...too big costly to only serve domestic flights...

The plan is TSN will serve all domestic plus short international flights less than certain distance...leave Long Thanh to serve the Long haul international flights...

Do you understand the rationale why build Long Thanh international airport...

Maybe when Long Thanh finally build ready I no longer fly here...
