So they can earn something from video posts. Can earn gifts during live chats. Hang flower income. Can also reach out to new customers. Can retain customers who follow them (useful for old customers to find them when they switch shops). Can find rich men looking for trophy gf (网红). Alice made a video while sitting in a Bentley. I think her business dropped after that when normal guys realise they cannot compete for attention. Earning solely from hj from old customer or walk-ins... is no longer the trend.
