It's a thought I had too. I think Arsenal and Man City will take up 2 CL slots this season. Who will take up the remaining 2 slots?

Our main rivals for CL qualification didn't seem to do much this transfer window. Did Man U, Aston Villa, Spurs or Chelsea sign any big names? Only Spurs signed Solanke in a £65 million transfer. The rest didn't seem to spend big too.

I think we also almost sold Endo last month before confirming Zubimendi will really be joining us. I think Arne Slot may be in the running for 1st managerial casualty for the new season. A poor start (10 games) will be the final nail.

A young, relatively unproven manager who is not backed in the transfer market. A team where many stars are in the final year of their contracts.

Very disappointed with the transfer market, not much activities going on for Liverpool. The owners must be deluded to think the depth of this squad will carry the team through the major tournaments...looks like the BPL title will elude them further...if they think the academy players will prop the team up then they will forever play second fiddle to teams like Man Shitty, it takes a few years for these players to fine tune their ware, all Man shitty have to do is buy players to fit into the role....that is why they have managed to enjoy the fruits of their labor in such a short time.

Interesting you mentioned Torres as i recall Carra comparing Nunez to Torres when he first arrived at Anfield.

Personally i still think Nunez lacks the clinical finishing ability of a top CF.

But i would be more than happy to be proved wrong this season.

The way i see it, what we should hope for is less injuries than last season, better team work from our midfield and better defensive work to stop conceding silly early goals.

Then, we still might fight for a top 4 spot

As for your last sentence, i think Klopp saw what was coming and had enough. Pity Slot but i guess he desperately wanted this job, so is probably prepared for whatever shit FSG puts in front of him.

Really depressed as i grew up enjoying the Reds golden years and then as an adult had to wait 30 years for the next league title. Dont think i have another 30 years left in me to wait for another league title

I am hoping so for Arsenal but MC will not get relegated. Even with points deduction ( 15?), they will probably end mid-table.
Besides newly promoted teams, I think Everton has high chance to be relegated.
Sold their striker and did not buy anyone...
Good to see them relegated after two very close shaves.

Liverpool still has a good chance to be top 4 but the next season may end up poorly for them, especially if they do not get a CL place.
