Statement on the Fields Ave raids from Mayor's Office
Friday, September 17 The City Information Office (CIO) has released a press statement regarding the raids on three clubs located in the city's entertainment strip. The statement reiterates Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan's (and, subsequently, Angeles City's) stance with regards to the operations of the nightlife establishments particularly along Fields Avenue. The raids on Wednesday night were no less than shocking for the bar owners and business groups of the city's thriving entertainment industry. It must be noted that this industry alone contributes roughly a third of Angeles City's income. Also notable is the absence of the mayor during the crackdown of the bars, ostensibly conducted by Manila authorities (DILG, PNP's Special Action Force). Mayor Pamintuan's absence, however, is completely justified by his trip to the US to receive medical equipment for the Ospital Ning Angeles. It must be said as well that, a few days prior to his trip abroad, the mayor had held a conference in which many bar owners and business groups from Fields Avenue and the entire entertainment district were present to hear his words and advice on their operations. Below is the press statement from CIO in full: The City Government of Angeles views the operation conducted by joint elements from the Department of Interior and Local Government, Philippine National Police and National Bureau of Investigation as contributory to its ongoing efforts to clean the city of vices and develop its image as a tourism haven. As a matter of policy, the City Government of Angeles, now under the leadership of Mayor Edgardo D. Pamintuan and Vice Mayor Vicky Vega, will never condone illegal activities especially in the operations of businesses related to entertainment and other industries. The result of the national operation revealed that in spite of numerous meetings with the bar owners and their managers wherein the City Mayor enumerated his strict policies against human trafficking and similar violations of the law, there are still unscrupulous businessmen who did not heed the call of the local chief executive. The City Mayor has issued numerous memoranda and orders on this issue including the issuance of Executive Order No. 13 on July 22, 2010 creating the Angeles City Task Force Against Human Trafficking. The City Philippine National Police has been tasked to prepare an operation-plan relative to the objectives of the task force anti-human trafficking. Also, the City Government has made it clear that it meant business with the closure of Pony Tails Bar and the relief of the CIDG Team a month ago due to allegations of extortion. In view of the events of early morning of September 15, the City Government has issued a temporary closure order against the 3 establishments – Forbidden City, Ugly Duck and Camelot – pending the results of the ongoing investigations. It will also investigate possible lapses on the part of the City PNP officials and personnel, and recommend appropriate actions on the issue. The City Government will also review existing ordinances on human trafficking and related issues. and will introduce the needed changes if necessary to include more stringent measures to ensure that minors will not be hired as entertainers. i was just thinking that both blow street n the small clubs like nifty n club rio operate similarly??
Both offer services for abt similar pricing. Just tht to some the set up at the bars may be more appealing

was in Angeles city from 17/9 to 20/0/11. it was my 4th trip there... not much changes to the pricing for booking since 2009. booked 3 girls from BJ bar in a go... 700 peso to the bar and i gave each girl 300 peso as tips... 01 giri was a cherry girl .. no fucking but she was damn good... had a wild of a time with all the 3 for 3 hrs...
