Just go to the Goldsmith shop at the corner ( map) .. not changing alot.. not much diff.

Been awhile since I last went there. Last trip I didn't go. . Should be ard. Other bro can help verify

as promised, quick update: saw a few people queuing and followed suit.. 1sgd to 17,180vnd.. has came down quite a bit from previous weeks but still better than sg rate

just to share my experience at the airport

out of plane at 2.40pm, and there were already long lines of queue from other domestic flights. lucky i flew sq and was directed to the front with a shorter line. still had to queue a while to show QR code from VN declaration https://tokhaiyte.vn/ and they also asked for PCR/ART result. Didn’t check the vaccination status nor insurance proof.

After that then join the next queue to chop passport. was quite smooth other than them taking their sweet time. no questions asked.

lastly, luggage check was smooth for me too. Because in front of me was their locals with big boxes of electronics, jamming up the scanners, i was quickly usher to go off maybe i look less suspicious. lol. out of airport at 3.30pm to wait for grab. My cards couldn’t work for some reason (same as some bro who mentioned) so I use grab wallet instead, cos I don’t like to handle cash.

all in all, good start to the trip. just tio, was supposed to meet a girl today but tio pang seh. in the end, switch plan to a clean massage near ben thanh and end the day early

yes my grab cant pay by credit card there as well.
have been paying by cash.

Yup can't. . . I grab food a lot... All cash. But at least grab app works. Except cc.

Not just grab. Eg. Vietjet. If u use mobile phone n do purchase will have some payment gateway issue with Cc. Vietnam airline apps sometimes Cc payment also error, but their website OK. Bamboo OK.

I still rem tio pang seh fly Aeroplane very normal at Vietnam. Always have a backup plan.
