You might be interested to know I have received an invitation to celebrate x'mas with a group of ex-military retirees cum bar owners. These guys have been running their bars in Angeles City around 15 years oredi and have collectively combined to open seven new bars in Sibulan near Dumaguete City.

The renovations have begun and they are targetting a December opening for all 7 bars. They are all located along the same stretch of road off National highway. This stretch of road already has a few other bars and several hotels / motels / resorts where students from the four nearby universities come to offer FL services.

Sibulan has plenty of ang moh tourists who come for the dive sites and beautiful beaches. It has a ferry terminal for crossing over to nearby Cebu island. The Sibulan airport is only about 10 mins away from the entertainment area. Those looking for shopping can visit nearby Dumaguete City which is developed and has many big shopping malls.

The setup of Sibulan is similar to fields ave / perimeter

Short drive from the airport, all the bars / accomodation situated along one stretch of road..... so so similar to Angeles City.

Now I have to figure out how to travel there for my X'mas party.

Well, had a whale of a time there, though short, and since it is going to be free-for-all, I could confess that .. now

Though it is a bit too close to comfort, being next door to AS / NPA territory ...

The airlines are offering good prices now to Cebu and also domestic flights. But regretfully, your travel periods are black out dates and prices are sky high. Hope your pocket is deep. Anyway my hats off to you for being so connected. Thanks for the info.

Tiger had the 1399p price on sale till Oct 12 which just expired few hours ago. Now is 0254hrs Oct 13. Tiger 1399 Raw Price includes tax n fare. 250p for online booking or convenience fee works out to 1649p which is S$50 all in no check in baggage.

Cebu Pac price of 288p is still on till Oct 14, but travel is Dec 1 onwards. Works out to about S$50 also for Sg>Clk and about S$33 for Clk>Sg.

Go do a trial booking. You are safe as long as you don fill in payment details. Learn the maths of each airline. Only for the very free. Haha.
