Apparently Angel Witch bar were warned a couple of weeks ago that they WILL return again..... and they kept their word.

Has anybody heard?
I was told by some locals that the new SM extension is to house the 40 bars that will be relocated from Fields / Perimeter / Friendship.
Access to the building will be from another entrance away from SM Mall.
Any info posted is definitely appreciated and welcomed.

How the term came about is like this..... when the BI receive the faxed copy of the manifesto of the arriving flight passengers..... they cross check with their list of offenders on the computer.... when a name comes up as a hit..... it is tagged and pasted onto a Johnny Walker Black Label bottle and sent to the immigration room near the immigration counters. A group of Indians were transitting in Manila, and the BI team had been told they are being trafficked (I wonder what is the problem of PH Immigration if a person wants to get trafficked anyway .. ) .. so, while these fellows were in the transit at NAIA, the BI officers had approached them, and asked them to remove their ties and knot it back. All failed to knot their tie, and they were held and deported back to India as being Imposters ..

Don't ask me what is the logic there ..

hahaha...the logic was that "a tie signifies a higher position and if one wears a tie, he must be a gentleman and an executive officer, so PH welcomes them; on the same logic, if someone who does not wear a tie, he must be of lower position or just a coolie, so PH does not welcome them" So, by asking them to undo a tie and tie it back will prove that one actually knows how to do a tie or not, if not.....then someone must have adorned him with a tie to "elevate his so-called higher position status"....hahahaha"

This perception of tie-wearing is a legacy of those colonials. Many times we read in the papers: "Well dressed robber with collar and tie and suit, walked into a jewelry shop and robbed it" ....so, "well dressed" = "wearing tie" = good man ......maybe I will start wearing a tie when bonking Filipinos to escape arrest

I know what an WLO is.
I am referring to the BLO, which means I am barred from stepping foot into the Phils or face jailtime. I have a branch office in Manila and it was my Filipino partner who alerted me to the BLO. I must have pissed them off bigtime for them to do that, but then again it is my job to put the heat on them to release those still in custody from the raids.

Anything you heard about the case? Could be my friend as he has not been returning my calls or SMSes nor has anyone seen him since couple of days ago.

The guy who was shot is Timothy..... the owner of the Touch of Class group of bars. He survived the shooting and is now recuperating in hospital..... and has offered a reward of 2million pesos for information pointing to the guy(s) who wants him dead.
