I do all my photography in solitude. It's far better with no distractions from other people. I can approach a scene or a subject with a clear mind.

Why do you need to "meet up" in order to shoot? Won't the other photographers get in the way?

I saw a group of Chinese "photographers" on my last trip to Queenstown. Everybody pointed their cameras in the same direction from the same vantage point with the same lenses. I'm pretty sure they all got the same picture.

Moving on, the original idea behind the thread was to share shoot contacts. Since this is essentially Sammyboy and not CS I had hoped that bros here can share contacts for pics we might be interested in.
