I wish to upload some pictures but was not allow to so. I thought i was still newbie so not allow, but i saw another newbie bro join in Sept 09 posting pictures in the sammyboy exchange forum. May i know the reason why i can't post attachments? Thanks.

you cannot upload picture here unless in the private section.
you can however link a url to the pic you want to display in some but not all of the forum here.

Hi Boss & Seniors,

I would like to seek your advice on rep pts.

I kena zap by 2 seniors for violating the rules and i accepted the punishment as it is clearly my fault and i learned from there.

Since then, i have bonked and wrote 3 FRs but no one is upping my pts for my effort in writing. Is it becuase my FRs are too long winded or too dry or therer is any other reason? It is all my genuine experience with those FLs.

If writing FRs doesn;t lead to getting pts, then what is the things that we need to do in order to get pt from seniors?

If writing a good and genuine FR is able to get pts, it will definitely encourage the newbies to chiong and put in effort in writing their experience after bonking session. (my 2cents worth suggestion)

I do understand things like we are unable to control when seniors are going to up the pt for newbies, but it will be good if there is a place where newbies can post their FR (ie. first 10 FRs since they joined) and let Boss or Moderators or Seniors to judge if the FR is good & genuine (pts will be awarded) and at the same time can also point out the mistake done by newbies in writing their frist few FRs. (my another 2cents worth suggestion)

Are you kidding!!!!!! I've never read an FR in my life and you want me to sit down and wade through more than 3000 posts daily in order to search for FRs and then perform an FR rating exercise????

I'd have to hire a whole freakin' battalion of FR judges. You want to volunteer to pay their monthly salaries???

As for your points.. all I can say is that you have to learn how the real world works. People aren't rewarded for producing quality work in real life. Promotions and appointments in any organisation depend upon how well one forms "strategic alliances". Cyberspace is no different. You have to suck up to the right people and you have to do it in subtle manner.

If you go around begging for points or carrying balls, you'll get zapped even further.

Life is tough. Life in this forum is no different.

You may be thanking me for my advice but for reasons best known to yourself, you have ignored everything I said.

I already told you working hard and writing more FRs was not going to work. I also told you not to beg for points but you do so in your very next post.

If you could view the pictures in that section, they wouldn't be PRIVATE anymore would they. I'd have to change the name to "PUBLIC section". The terms and conditions for entry are spelt out in the link provided in the forum preamble.
