More convenient, you can try Secrets hotel. Rooms are ok, and price is reasonable.

Since you are 1st timer to Patts and going there solely for the AGG bars..... I suggest you stay at the Diamond Place hotel.

It is located right smack inside Walking Street and more importantly..... it is surrounded by several AGG bars right at its doorstep..... literally.

Stay in Sinkiepoor now no guarantee you will be safe. Many fights every weekend in Geylang until I scared to sit in the kopitiams with many foreign workers customers. Even got the SOC angchia policemen intervene also these foreigners are no scared. Dunno why the news report the fighting in Tekka but dun report the fightings in Geylang.
