Exchange rate on Thursday 3 Nov was 33.35 and went up to 33.50 on 4 Nov. Weather is generally wet all day. Umbrella vendors out in force. Selling 50p foldable umbrellas for 100p. Anyway for those interested. 50p umbrealla are available from the stalls behind the jeepney terminal of Check Point.

Planning a trip with 2 other buddies to AC from the 25-28 Nov - Bachelor's night for one of them. Any chance of hooking up with any bros then? First time in AC for my friends and 2nd time for me (the 1st time was also for a bachelor night) Needless to say, I've had great memories from my first time there and hope to share that experience with my buds.

Any recommendation on which hotel? I stayed at Pacific Breeze the first time.

After doing so many girls thru the years, it becomes a chore rather then a pleasure. So the hunt is better then the eating of the catch.

Found a new videoke shop that's now my favourite cos no mosquitoes and not so noisy. Good Jap food at super cheap prices. Cooked by the owner himself with authentic Jap sauces. His wife is a pleasure to have around though it's hands off. Located opposite JJ Store on Fields. Opening hours: Gosh, my friend sang till 7am.

Sml at 45p, juice in can at 35p and rice with sukiyaki at 75-95p. Its a steal. Easy going management and no complains about my buying fried chicken from neighboring shop. Even provide me plate and saucer. Songs at 5p each.

I recommend the chiz sticks or fries at 65p and Sukiyaki Hot Plate at 180p.

Korean Videoke behind the trike terminal of Atlantis is better for their cute waitresses and setup. Downside is the dirty surroundings and mosquitoes.

Sml and juice is 50p and SOJU is 150 a bottle. My favorite dish is the kimbap at 55p.

Same for me, I will be there from Nov 29 to Dec 11 before going to Cebu for another week. Anyway its good to see you again.
