Bro,

I Just want to get across to Luohu Train Station. My friend will pick me up. If I had to queue for 2 hours then, I will fly to GZ and find my own way to Chang Ping.

I arrived 1025am in the morning on Thursday 16 Oct via Jetstar into HK.
Any other bros have similar bad experience or good experience

Bro if my memory didnt fail me, i think there's no such thing in Macau, their airport is very small and old, dont think they have such high-tech stuff.

bro .. i have been to HK a couple of times ...
each time the queue wait is minimum 45 to 60 minutes ....
that's how inefficient HKIA immigration is ....

so regardless whether u take train or private car in HK ...
as long as u have to pass through HKIA immigration, u have to set aside a minimum 60 minutes of waiting time ....
if u take the ferry inside HKIA, u will bypass the immigration queue ...
but i'm not sure if there's any ferry to GZ from HKIA ...
and the journey time could be longer ....

Hi bro,

Actually the route is ok. Just that you suay. I also kanna 3 hours Hua Tong MPV before. But normally should be within 2.5 hours.

For the HKIA custom, you might want to apply for the Frequent Visitor Pass. Then passing the custom would take mins and not hours. Your flight reaches around 12++ noon, there's one SIA and Cathay flight at least that reach around that time from Singapore. That's why lots of people in the queue.

Alternatively, you can take bus I think A43 to Shang Shui MTR then take train to Luo Hu. Clear the custom like clearing the macau custom (except it is faster than the macau one) then take train to CP (train is 25 to 30 mins max).

If your timing is swee swee (ie not much waiting time for bus and train), takes around 2 hours to reach. I tried before early in the morning when there's no MPV around. But if you got lots of luggage, then take MPV better.

Personally I like taking the HKIA route because more flights from SIA or Cathay and timing a lot friendlier. However lately the price gone up so much I begin to take budget....

Bro, i oso got a culture shock when i step into Jaiyi KTV...but i can endure more than u, i make at least 3 rounds b4 picking my 1st gal...

the journey ride time is ok ... but the waiting time is not acceptable especially at SZ and HKIA ...

thanks for the heads-up on the FVP ....
lots of ppl in the queue is not a good reason for the long wait ...
there were abt close to 20 immigration counters on each side (A&B) but less than half are open ... and some of them can just close shop when it's time for lunch ... there's no over-lapping shift and they don't care even it's peak period ....
it all boils down to the management of HKIA ... they sucks big time ...
think the managemnet should go and learn from Changi Airport ...
In Changi Airport, the moment the plane dock, clear immigration, collect bag at belt ... it only take less than 30 minutes ... peak or no peak period ...
the record is 15 minutes flat .. i time it myself before ...
